Buying Seeds online, and recommending a strain for a beginner

Ok so I tried to search for this topic but couldn’t find anything.
So if there are threads about my question I apologise.

So I got a few seeds of a mate. He doesn’t know what they are. And some other mates have saved me a few. But same story, they can’t tell me what seeds they are.
So I was thinking about getting some seeds from the internet.

Now my problem is. What is a good web page to order from? As I have herd there is a lot of bull shit out there. And I don’t want to get ripped off.
Also if anyone could recommend a half decent plant that I can grow out doors in Australia for a first timer. That would be much appreciated

Also Would I have any problems getting the seeds in to Australia, as I was thinking today? They are just seeds and I can’t imagine the post and customs searching every single envelop…

i would ad vise you to start with bag seed. that way you can learn with out having to spend lots of money on good seed then have them die on you because of mistakes.if the bag seeds die the only thing you lost is the time you put in if you want to try a seed bank try nirvana. got my beans in 10 days from them. look for strains that are easy to grow

Yea I'm in similar situation. I live in the USA. and i feel like i'm Limited to Nirvana Seeds. any1 got some help for a farmer in need

I am from the U.S> and used the attitude seed company. I would also suggest something from barneys farm. They have strong growing plants for the most part.

i am on the otherside in the wild west ,but have done it several times on the net , and no problems thus far touch wood.
i have only tried fromm canada ,the u.k ,and eire ,i am a bit paranoid about holland so have never ordered from there.

I highly recommend Discount cannabis seeds - marijuana (weed) seeds. I been goin to them just over a year now and no problems whatsoever. Cheaper than attitud by far, all original packaging.

I also recommend you check out whitewidowwomans thread, " Where do you get your seeds? good experiences please!" because when I typed "seed companies" or "seedbanks" in the SEARCH, I found the thread right away along with 50 others. You could just type in the seedbank name in the SEARCH and you'd get something too.

I also agree with dew-b on starting out on bagseed first. You know bag seed isn't bad at all unless you get a bag thats nuthing but seeds,stems and leaves.

i would suggest big bud or lowryder..im currently growing my lowryder and its turning out great...itz very low maintenaince...im still waiting for my big bud to arrive..i've heard its an easy strain to grow 4 beginners..

sorry mossy did not answer your other question , as we have a long hot summer here ,and i prefer a sativa type stone ,maybe go for one that is a more sativa in the genetics, but dont know what your summers are like over there ,also i am in the bush so height is not a problem as they can get pretty big , but you can always tie them down ,and they dony have the strong smell that some of the indica strains ,but guys on this site are more experienced than myself may give you better advice.
the quickest i have got was via plant skunk in eire , so you could give them a try ,but i was a bit paranoid about the way they came in the envelope ,and i could here them rattle ,the ones i had from other places were packed in a more secure way and had cotton wool in like plastic strip containers very small , and less easy to spot ,plus you have the advantage of melbourne being a very busy place as far as the postal service so i would think much more mail going through rather than here , but i would not like to recommend a particular company ,but guys on this site usually have good info on who is a rip off ,and who is not.

I would recommend bagseed to start with. You will be able to get your grow "dialed in" before you get store bought seeds. Plus, I have had some bagseed to turn into some very dank meds.

If you are determined to order store bought seeds then I can recomend Docs and marijuana-seeds.nl. Both were very discreet...comunicated...and delivered the seeds with 14 days from order to the USA.
