Cal/Mag Issue?

I am growing outdoor in organic soil, roughly 4-5 weeks along in flower and just noticed these little brown spots show up. I haven't been feeding up to this point in the grow, but noticed it might need some food, so I watered and fed last Friday with a 1/4 strength cal/mag and 1/4 strength bloom nutes, probably won't need to water again until Friday.

Question are 1.)Does this look like a Cal/Mag issue? 2.) Should I up the Cal/Mag, if so how much? 3.) Do you see something other than a Cal/Mag issue?

Nope, definitely not cal/mag. Spots would be larger and rust colored. Almost looks like insect damage to me.

Not saying it couldn't be insects, but I have been pretty vigilant about spraying for them when I see them. Checked under the leaves and no signs of spider mites.

Any other input here? Always appreciate the input and good to have several eyes and opinions.

Ok, so you had me worried it might be spider mites. So, I took some photos of the underside of the leaves and I do not see a sign of spider mites. If it is a pest, it has got to be something that is flying on and off, where I do not see it, because I do not see any sort of infestation of any pest of any kind. This is why it leads me to believe it is some type of deficiency. Here are some pics of the underside of some leaves.



Also, here is another pic of a damaged leaf that depicts what I am seeing throughout the plant.

Doesn't look like mites either. But it almost looks like eggs on the leaves in those type of patterns. I'm sure others will pipe in shortly too.

Yeah, I just don't know. If it's bugs like you think, I have to deal with it, no matter how much it pains me to spray this late in flower. Like you said, I am hoping someone here will chime in.

That being said apollo, last time I fed which was last Friday, I gave 1/4 strength bloom nutes. On the next feeding, which will most likely fall on this Friday, do you think it is safe to up to full strength or move to half strength this feeding then to full strength the following feeding?

Anyone else like to chime in here?

Also, some of the larger fan leaves are dieing off as well, this is really making me nervous.

Those pic's seem to indicate a Phosphorus deficiency.......blue-ish green leaves with blotches. Check out the RIU Plant problem link.

Thanks SSHZ! I have been through several hours of the RIU Plant problems pages and as informative as they are, nothing seems to be right on the money. I appreciate you following my thread and hanging in there with me. I think out of precaution I may hit the plants with a very light neem spray tonight. When it comes to watering/feeding time, I will up the bloom nutes, which should give it the Phosphorus she may be in dire need of. Once again, thanks for the help SSHZ!

I would first consider giving them a real good flush of plain water to get rid of what might be your issues........are you checking pH? If you're in soil, 6.3-6.5 is best with everything going into the pots. After the flush and they begin to dry out, THEN slowly start fertilizing again. Get a good flashlight and start religiously looking at the plants and pots for insect activity too. You'll get it straightened out if you're diligent enough.

Idk, it seems like the damage that was done to the large fan leaves is permanent and they will eventually all dry up and fall off, but the bud growth and the smaller leaves around the buds seem to be ok, so I am hoping that is enough to get them through the next 4-6 weeks, so I can harvest on schedule, rather than harvesting early. Mon could be wrong but it looks like a burn to mon, almost like soil or coco is too acidic or your PH is way off........did the plant get worse or better after you watered with cal mag and bloom?

1) do you adjust your Ph before administering any feed? if not...do that...

2) There are a few different CalMg products... make sure your dont have one that is N based. (ie 2-0-0)
in flower you want tthe one that is (0-0-0)...
made that mistake before, burned that shit out of my whole room in a day.

but yes, this is a CaMg problem..and correctly administering it should clear that right up....

SRC...LOL, I remember that....

If you use soil use either CaMg+ from General Organics or Epson Salt or another organic amendment. DO NOT USE Bontanicare Cal Mag Plus. It will screw your shit up UH SRC?

BTW This looks more to me like Phosphorus deficiency the dark coloration on the leafs are also probably accompaniedy by slow growth.

This is correctable with a good flush probably too much Fe and Zn which can leads to this type of deficiency. Try adding some phosphorus. Check to ensure pH is correct. Cannabis loves phosphorus hard to over feed them phosphorous.
