Cal & Mag issues need advice.

Hi all,

I think I suffer from Calcium and mag deposit. This is my 2nd time growing so I'm still learning.
Bit of history..
The first batch I only had A.N. nutes and it went well, at the end I tough they were suffering from cal & mag deficiency so I bought some and added.
This is where the brown spot appeared more intense, so I stop adding that. My tap water is 120 PPM or 0.24 ec so I believe I should NOT need extra cal mag.

Now the second grow, somehow I decided to add just a tiny bit of cal & mag into my 20galon bucket.. shit start to happen not long after. brown spot everywhere.. keep cutting dead, dried leaf. First reflex, clean the reservoir and start over with fresh water. My ph is tested twice a day, morning and night and always 5.8 to 6.2 but new grow still show brown spot.. I don't know what to do. I'm at week 3 of veg, is this a waste of time and nutes to keep growing ? How can I recover from this ?

I also have started a 3rd batch in a different reservoir with no extra cal mag this time and they are doing just fine.

Looks like it could be a few things honestly it’s very hard to tell. My advice to you would be to look into organic soils to possibly use for your next run, I use a brand called M3 and sometimes Fox Farm and I literally just use water up until flower. My strategy is to start them in solo cups just until the roots fill up the cup I then transplant to 1 gallon pots in fresh soil that’s already pre mixed (M3 or Fox Farm) then do the same thing and keep upping the pot size until flower. Not saying you have to do this but I suggest this method to people who may struggle with nutes & deficiencies/lockouts
