Anyone using this brand LED manufacturer? They look like really well constructed lights to me. I'd love to hear some reviews of them if anyone owns one. I'm considering the 400 watt veg/bloom Solar Storm.

Always look for a long warranty with LED's.....good/solid company's are not afraid to offer something reasonable. This company offers a 3 year warranty, which is fine. Also, they aren't really good for anything over a 3 X 3 ft. area in flowering.

I have a 440w ss on the way. Starting off with the 400 has been strong. They have some really good pricing for the 440w. It can be found for around 750~

The tent I ordered is a 3x3 so that will be right up my alley.

Seems like a high quality product, but...

They are still using OLD thinking by continuing to use R/B diodes. The theory is [IR/B diodes better provide PAR peaks for chlorophyll A/B [/I].

That is pure BS. Can you grow with R/B? Absolutely, but with insufficient full spectrum, future generations will be prone to develop deficiencies, much like humans who do not get enough sun

The last 2 generations of white diodes provide ALL the spectrums, allowing the plant to choose/utilize what it needs. Several grows on RIU are proving this RIGHT NOW. I too have been growing successfully for 3 grows, using only WHITE leds

Pics are my 2 clones within days of harvest, grown under 90w 5000K + 90w 3500K + after buds set 3 ~18w x 4ft tubes @ 3000K

Nuggz are super tight

PF nailed it on the head..

While there is no doubt that they will produce buds (unlike some other LEDs,) The price you're paying for the power draw and footprint is crazy. I can only speak on the older model, but they also kicked off a lot of heat.

Overall, not a terrible light, but there are better lamps out there.

Check out this picutre on a post I found over at the grower feed back programs site (I am not part of the GFP). I have an email into them about this, but they are super busy with the new lights coming out so who knows when they will get to it.

Looks like its all white to me? I received my old light 3 weeks before this guy got his and mine is deff the r/b ight with a few white lights. This looks all white. My 440w is shipping from California tomorrow. I wont discuss it on the forum as it always ends up in a fight but if people want some info on it please feel free to pm me.

I'm thinking it probably has a switch to just turn on the whites.
