if you cut anything that isn't new growth, your plant will grow slow. try it if you want... i'm always interested in new techniques.

yes you can clone the top. and you cant prevent the plant from growing taller. wen you top it it just give it 2 tops instead of one. maybe you need to look in LST and try that.
