Can I grow it in a bin...

So, I don't know anything. But instead of doing app the research and then wasting money, I thought I'd come here. If I have like, a blue storage bin, and have enough soil in it, and use the right kind if soil, and put holes in the bin for air, and put the right kind of lights on the inside of the bin, is it possible to do this. If not, why? If yes, what am I missing because I probably don't have all of it.

Proper drainage.

If you don't know anything, start with some of the stickies or watch the grow videos. Sure, that might not be what you're after - but you will still learn a lot of the terms and concepts. Don't try to absorb it all. Then you might want to skim through some posts in the stealth section of this forum - one good area to spot other small/micro grows. Have fun!

Yeah I'm reading through some other things at the same time because I really don't know much, thanks for the direction there though. It's a lot of jazz to take in.

If they were in their own pots so the soil would drain then you could theoretically grow small plants in a storage bin. IDK why you would want to do that though. It seems unsafe compared to other options and you would hardly yield anything.

Attempt a spacebucket grow or something similar if you dont want to spend much money or whatever. Otherwise invest in a tent or build a cupboard, you seriously gonna want a proper setup if you want good results, Im learning the hard way.

Google storage tote grow. Usually one tote is upside down over the first tote with lights and fan in it so you can grow to a semi decent size

Do some more research. But yeah i guess you can grow almost anywhere if you have the correct drainage, lights, soil and air flow. But like pipe dream said, am unsure why you would want to do this lol, just buy a grow tent or something?? GW

Your problem is going to be vertical growth with a storage bin. You wont be able to keep ventation, lights, soil, water, all in a confined area, as your lady is constantly growing! Like others have said, go for a small tent, closet, or stealth cabinet.
