Can i smoke the colas after topping while 8 weeks of veg?

You can get off on it, not very strong though.... I had 4 male plants I tried to make hash out of (what a waste of time) that I am smoking till my crop comes in... Beats nothing for sure! Speaking of that its about time to burn some right now! WooHoo!

After reading the first few replies i decided not to. But curiosity might kill the cat. I woke up this morning and felt encourage to be the white rat in a science experiment so that all who read this thread will know of this experience. It tastes like shit. Once you burn it you will know. They use to take and mix that shit in with some stems and seeds and a little weed and sell it for pot. Go to your kitchen and roll you a big ole fat one out of oregano and give it a tug! <VBG>

Jov...I am a novice at this but the picture diagram did call them colas, if it was a bud i would be in hog heaven. Its been 24 hours now since i chopped off the COLAAAS and its starting to dry up. After reading Rollinbud's last reply i feel hesitant to smoke the COLAS now. But I will step up to the plate once the drying process is done and be the man of my word. I don't have any oregano and if i did i would'nt try it unless i would be compensated and would follow up with a full report. I thought I would take a pic of the COLAS to let everyone see what they look like and how green and wonderful they look even while drying ( kinda look like a good salad.) The reasons i have so many is because i chopped/topped the plants 4 times already and they just kepp making more. I think i should stop because they ladies are going to be top heavy ( heheheh get it?...ladies being top heavy.)

dry out grind up very fine then look up how to make firecrackers out of them all and eat all of it...

How come when someone really needs an answer to a question everyone will look and not comment but this guy obviously hasnt been doing his due dilligence in the research department gets comments from everyone about his vegging tops that he wants to smokel. I think its a dumb idea but do what you want bud take it into your dispensary and ask them what they think you should do with your colas but wait for it to dry first then stick it in a jar like your really curing it and look like you know what your doing. The guys there will give you mad respect come back and tell us about it

Ok OK....look this is my first time growing. They are 8 weeks old so i am thinking since its the top part of the plant that is where the potent buds would appear if i did'nt chopped/ topped it. They do have the marijuana odor on it and they are old enough to go into flowering but i prefer to wait (restraining myself) till the branches are big enough to hold 8 top lushes buds per plant. Now i have these cuttings from the top of the main stems ( call it what you like colas / stems / groups of leaves.) I have not seen any one posting saying that they had tried smoking it at this stage so i am curious. I am sure the affect would not be very damaging if it dose not get me high. Then again it would be one less thing for me to ponder about. Soon enough i will know from first hand experience and can transfer my encounter to those who might come across this situation. HMMM..after writing this i felt like i should've ate one when it was fresh to see if i can put it into a cooking recipe.

Man you should start doing some research this is the reason why when i have a question no one will give me an answer cuz they are too busy answering and reading this stuff

lol listen man dont smoke that shit get it repotted and let it grow some roots giving you a perfect clone ready for your next grow. if not keep it with the rest of your trimmings that you take during flowering and make some hash when you a have enough trimmings to do so. it will not get u buzzing be patient...peace

noones admitting it but i bet we have ALL tried it. I did once when i was like 14 and found a plant down by the creek , aand i thought i got high but mabye placebo effect , who knows.

Stop keeping us in suspence and let us know how it was.

Finally someone admits smoking it. I had to google the word (placebo.) Hamster please be patient ( hahaha me telling someone to be patient.) It is the second day going on the drying process and its hard to dry something that is kept in a paper bag in the dark. I poured it out so you can see it against my home made ruler. I can feel softness it dose not crunch when i run my fingers on them. I am sure i would know if it is a buzz or placebo or not since i am on many medications and am very good at waiting to see if the medications kicks in. Mr. Montana, growing cannabis for the first time can be quite confusing and there are many things that us newbies don't know. I have spent many hours for the past 9 weeks looking for informations. I find that sites will have different informations on the same subjects. Thus leaving one like me ( a newbie ) still a little confuse and wanting to know the fact. When i asked the question no one answered that they did it and what it was like until the Hamster showed up. Since i am already in the process without anything to smoke, I will follow through as soon as the top leaves/colas dries up and share my experience with other newbies that might have the same question.

NO WAY, i veg for 10 weeks then chop chop!! the resin is sooo sticky and my leaves taste sooo good and get me really high... ahhhahha
