Can i switch from 24/0 light cycle to a 18/6 cycle without harming the plant.

i am in week 2 of veg and i've been running my light cycle for 24/0. i've been reading and some people say that this is harmful for the plant in the long run with soil issues and some deficiency problems could steam from 24 hours of light. Can i switch to 18 hour light 6 hour dark cycle now without harming the plant???????

Are you eventually repotting those lovely ladies individually.

should i? i was going to let them grow as is in same pot, this is my first ever grow so im still learning. what would you suggest

Do you have to? No
Should you? Absolutely....very carefully as the roots are fragile and may be intertwined.

Yea, try to separate those plants to their own pot. Be careful of the existing root system when doing so. Maybe split the soil from the center out like a pie.

Rinse or gently spray as you slowly remove the plants...kind of cleaning the roots as you lift.
Will not harm them, immediately repot.

But one pot one plant.

And yes 24 to 18/6 is fine.

im so scared ima do that and kill the plant lol.. ima try to seperate them tomorrow i guess hope i dont screw this up.. thank you for the help

Report back after. Expect to see some minor shock after transplant. Don’t freak out if they seem sad for a bit.
