Can i use a lid??

Im using buckets for my outside grow this year.. i was wondering if i can put the lid on the bucket with a hole for the plant to come out of or will this cause priblems? Im using a watering system with a drip system at the end so no rain water or anything needed.

Doesnt anyone know if u can have a lid on ur pot???

it should be fine because nothing down there needs light to grow, as long as the hole on the lid is big enough as it doesn't constrict the stem. i don't see a problem with it.

I don't see any reason why it'd be a problem.. You can always cut it off if you ever need to remove it for some reason.

Yeahh thats what i was thinking, probably a nice 5" hole should work nicely... Planning on tryin out sum lst and figured securing it to the bucket lid can keep the whole tying down process a lil cleaner. I'll post sum pics up this weekend when i get this whole thing goin.
