Can I use this soil on it's own?

from what I've gathered, the african violet stuff (anything pertaining to) is too something, I think too acidic. anyways, no. and the coconut fiber stuff you must watch too. some cocnut fiber pots are bleached and will kill your plants. Any potting soil NOT MIRACLE GRO will do.

Um, you just stepped out of my area into unknown (for me) turf. i am a gorilla dirt grower in the US, and can't get a setup like that over here, but hell yeah, it looks alright, I didn't catch the price, you may be able to put together a setup for that much money with much more or different stuff, deopends on what you are going for. / bump

looking more in detail at it, you may want a larger fan, but aside from that, and of course investing in different nutes and fertz later, it looks pretty complete. you may want to inquire on the amount of amperage you will be pulling, but 1 light shouldn't be a prob. for 500 it's not bad, a light could run you $100 easily, and the tent goes for about $100-150. so yeah it sounds about right.

Yep the nutes I can always upgrade. What size fan to you think I would need to keep the temps proper...it's a 400hps/mh light... 36in long, 20 in wide and about 6 feet tall is the space and I think I would have 6 plants in there...hopefully all female...I know wishful thinking..lol
