Can this CFL light be used?

Hi,

I'm working on building up a small 3 plant grow but my main problem is the lights.
I plan on following SeeMoreBuds "Marijuana Buds For Less" book and I'm having a hard time finding the right lights to use.

I live in Iceland, (an island in North- Europe) and the variety here in lighting sucks but after searching endlessly on the internet i found a store here in Iceland that sells 42w CFL's.

This one is a 42w warm white CFL (like the ones SeeMoreBuds used in his book) but in his case they were 2700 K that he used through the whole process but these I found were 3000 K, would that be allright?

I also found these on the shops site, are they any worse? I noticed they have a different color temp(K):

I love how you have to tell us where Iceland is! My computer screen got a mouth full of ice tea!

I use 6500K on mine.
3 weeks old today.
So don't be afraid too strong.
Just pull your lights back a bit if they react uncomfortable, thats all.

Nice to meet you in Iceland!
From Midwest United States!

42w cfls are the most efficient and useful size IMO. You want around 75% 6500k (or thereabouts) in veg, and them switch to 75% 2700k (or 300k is fine) in flower. Remember to get cfls in close after seedlings get some size. cfls emit 64 lumens per watt and you want at least 3000 lumens per sq ft of growing space, 500 is much better.

Thanks for the info both of you, and sorry about the icetea hippygirl.
Your welcome Thrainn and not a problem with the ice tea.
It was funny though... I laughed.
But it is true, some people don't know their geography.
Well we did have Sara Palin thinking she could see Russia from Alaska.
So it's understandable.

I've never mailed to Iceland.
I have all over Europe with my business.
Would you like me to mail you a box of CFL lights?
What size box are we limited to?
There's nothing wrong with mailing light bulbs, right?
Not breaking any laws.
Let me know and more then happy to help out.
