can you buy seeds in this state or not?

Might sound like a pain but have you considered pollinating a small lower portion of a couple plants? I thought it would be hard to control and would ruin the bud potency but I was willing to make the sacrifice because I can't buy seeds easily, like you.
I've had some surprising success considering I'm just a home diy pollen chucker. I've found keeping some lower buds that wouldn't produce much anyway, using a small amount of pollen on a small brush helps.
Wait till you're about half way through with flower, apply pollen, and keep airflow/fans above the the canopy, off of the lower growth. You may get a couple rogue seeds here and there but if you're careful you can keep this to a minimum.
It's saved my ass. I mostly grow my own seeds these days but it took me years of desperation to get to this point.

I had the same issue in Colorado 6 years ago. All I wanted was seeds and sarsaparilla, and couldn't find either.

So where were all of the seed dens? I could have taken tons of clones from all of my grower friends, but I was too paranoid to drive them back across the country. Also the lack of sarsaparilla was odd considering all of the full blown cowboys dwelling out there.

How we hated to buy seeded bags. Now we cry for lack of seeds. Make up your minds people. And USPS mails now without a thought. Even to Canada. Make some friends or mail order. Legal till you sprout in a few places. And a few ain't worth the time for most local Roscoe P. Coltranes.

I think you missed the part about this being 6 years ago. I've run like 100 strains since then. It was also illegal to ship seeds until 2018.

I laugh my ass off everytime I watch it.
And you should have seen my poor mother in law in a sun hat on Holland Beach in MI. She was as tall and wrinkled as Yoda. And I mischievously tossed popcorn on her hat brim. They poked her coconut and she raved as we rolled. Seagulls are threat to the public. and I randomly found that for your sake. Too funny but a star for you.

You just gotta know how to deal with them and they won't poke your coconut. I grew up in Seattle, and they're actually kinda fun. Some are pushy though. If you ever go to Seattle you gotta go to Ivar's on Pier 54. I've had them eat out of my hand.
