Can you caregive for a living?

If you wanted to go down the legit road and claim pay and all that...just start up a hobby business. Lawn Cutting, Painting houses, etc and slowly leak the money! If there's a will there's a way. And I hear ya c&t. I'm rocking a 95 honda with 200k on her! Sounds like you may need to up your donation a bit if your hurting that bad
 
I want to pay taxes for the same reason I got my card; extra insurance. if they try and get me for having loot from a "drug operation" or whatever I want to have paid taxes on it. That's all.

it's a super-weak argument but I'd have to argue that I sold sessions for profit and gave away the pot as a promo or something. no sale of pot and taxes paid on the money earned that I have it's the best way I see through the grey foggy area.
 
if you are worried about the grey area then get a haircut and get a real job. Nothing I do is truly black and white any more..since shuette i live in the grey

I am sure I am not alone but I want to respond to this thread..just not comfortable doing it on the net...if you ever get down to sw mich lemme know and can talk in person.
 
I think if you put more time and effort and study it more it will pay off more in the yields which will be more cash which will help you try to make a living.
 
I can make about $1500 a month in my pocket from growing. The problem I have is finding patients that a legit and willing to pay up front for an oz. I only ask for $250 per zip. Any suggestions as to how to find good patients? I've tried all I know and still can get to 5 of them. People alll want shit for free. it's ridiculous. They want free oz a month and don't want to actually buy any after they get the free one each month. Frustrating to say the least...

Some people on here really think that if a grower works hard and doubles the yield, that all the extra MUST be given away freely. Those are the people that you cannot even talk too. lmao.
 
how about a little day in the life action?
8am till 6pm gardening chores including but not limited to: up-potting for an order,and myself.cleanin cloners and and cutting more. Finish loading flower room. reorg veg for clean-up. hand water the little stuff. work on 'waterpark' project. top off 2 rez's. clean and ready some tents for the next breedin proj.(all while I keep a legal number count! the hardest plannin part btw). 2 pots of coffee,2 corn dogs.

shower up and hit the road. 2 freebie patients,one witha sitdown and cryin,one with a talkin too about insessent txtin,(dude just naggs,damn!) $75 in the gas tank,some drive thu burger down our necks. home around 11:30

oh yeah! and stoppin to chat ya'll

That's why you use markets and dispensaries. THIS is what Belle is working on. There are thousands of patients in this state that do not like the meds that ARE available to them. It's a huge problem in this state and there are countless solutions. Anyone with ideas? I would appreciate suggestions on Michigan forum, pm me or BelleIsle or email either of us at medicatedacresup at yahoo. If you are good grower that have meds available with patients or are a patient that wants access to better meds, contact us or just mention it. Soon there will be atleast a couple caregivers I know of up here, that will want to get a few more patients.

YES! that's awesome, as long as you love it then you must REALLY love it man! I'm stoked you're doing well and I'm going to as well when I've put in as much work and research as you. I'll get there same way I run a race find a fast mother fucker like you and do my damndest to follow!

never said i was 'doing well', just still in the race..choking gaspin pukin but still growin forward...kinda like your ironman thing ;)
 
Yeah giving away a free oz a month is just plain retarded, I give my patients 1 oz per crop, at least 3-4 times a year, and next time if I renew anyone different I will most likely change that because it's not easy, I put over 100 hours in this week alone, I can't just give it away like that, It's not like dropping a seed and coming back to shit tons of buds, if it were so only so easy, I thought I knew about growing but I know nothing because there is so much to know, if you were going for ten years you still would be learning a LOT. If you can't find any patients I may have some I can send your way if your in the Saginaw area, There is a lot of people here that don't have the resources, money, time or just knowledge to grow, I love learning and getting high so it's fun to me and get something out of it in the end.
 
As a patient, when I come knockin I throw 5 for 2 at my grower buddies and feel good about it. Of course this is grade A+ of the stuff you find on the AA top self, but that's all about your connect I guess.
 
When I get to where I can pull lots of weight with little cost and sell overages and I'm connected enough to get fair compensation and have other revenue streams I could see some free stuff for some patients-especially for the cats that stick with you through rough times, mites or molds or a broken ac unit I mean c'mon a guy who digs in with you when you're in a mite war and doesn't jump ship for a slightly better deal deserves it but the main point I'm seeing is all situations are different. I give up free butter or water/ice hash from the trim whenever the trim gets piled up. I have 2 guys that are OK with this and myself. right now its about getting to the point of maxing out my 2K watt HIDs and plant count with high quality and collecting the best strains I can. When my britches get too small maybe move to the next level. I think labs are now being pushed to the front of the to-do list; that's best way to set a fair price, ya? What's the thoughts on basing price on lab reports? I know it'll blow minds around jacktown; I ask everywhere if they have labs on the meds and everyone looks at me like I got a dick growing out of my head and then stammers l..l...l like TCH testing? what do you guys think; is labs a good way to set price on meds? Where do you see posted results for the meds available for sale?
