No they can't, for a variety of reasons, legality being just one complication.

I think what hippy and gb are saying is that if you have a legitimate medical condition, you could technically grown your own OR even easier, use a dispensary instead of an LP. Searching the streets for meds as a legitimate patient has almost become a thing of the past with the mail order system. When was the last time you heard of a patient in Canada getting busted for dispensary use?(not talking growing here, strictly a patron of a club or dispensary)
I used to worry about all that non sense, but since I'm only purchasing from dispensaries(until Phelan hopefully delivers good news ) I have little to no worry. If they want to come and harass an MS patient over where and why he chooses to get his meds, it won't look good on them. Oh not to mention I have a better chance of winning the Lotto Max then that ever happening, it's just irrational thinking due to fear. There ARE other options for patients other than LP's, and the selection, price, and quality is far more vast.
