Can you take clones once/twice before flowering?

Lets say there is an auto currently about 21 days in flower so i want to want a little longer till the room switches to 12/12.
*clone will be under t5 dome 24/0

- is it safe to take clones from these other non auto currently in veg and their over 16" with many clone sites.

- I want to take only 1 set(4-8 cuts) of clone then put it(where the clone came from, not clone*) into flowering is this safe?

With auto flowering plants you can take clones, but since the plant doesn't flower based on light cycle you have to do it early on. The clones are the same age as the plant you took it off of, so with auto flowering plants if you do manage to get some clones off it, they wont get very big before flowering.

I really couldn't understand all that you were trying to ask...but here is a general idea about cloning:

Autos...don't clone em...not worth the effort...the plant doesn't have the time to regenerate its root structure and flower properly...its best to just leave it all as it is and let it grow.

Regular strains...you can clone whenever the hell you want...you can take a completely done flowered cola cut it off slap it down in the ground and put it on 24/0 and wait for it to start vegging again...now mind you its going to take a while for it to go back into veg and start new good growth, but it will eventually...the earlier in veg you can take the clones the easier and quicker it is to get it to root and start vegging again...the longer you wait the longer it takes(sometimes takes a good month+ to really start to figure out wtf is going on and start growing new growth).

Hope that answers what you were trying to ask :D

Thanks for the reply but what I meant to say was cloning the feminized seeds not the auto. I have an auto that is currently under 18/6 along with some other vegs(non auto) which is why I didn't want to switch to 12/12 yet so I was wondering if I could SAFELY take clones from these other vegs in the room?

What I meant to ask was I currently have these veg plants that are old enough to cut clones from. They are ready to go into 12/12 but I have one auto currently in the same room which is why I don't want to go to 12/12 for another 3 weeks. I want to know if these other plants in the room (non auto) If I can take one set of clones from them (4-8 cuttings) then in about 3 weeks the plant itself goes into flowering.

I hope that wasn't confusing, I am a little medicated right now.

There should be nothing wrong with taking clones now. 3 weeks before you flip it to flowering is plenty of time for the plant to recover.
