So what are the best Canuck online sites for equipment?
I've yet to find any Canadian offline or online supplier that can compete on equipment up here. Even with the dollar where it is, prices are typically still less expensive online and from anywhere but Canada. I buy some small things here on e-Bay like filters and nutes, but lighting and the like I buy from the US & e-Bay.,

Any canucks growing outdoor this year? Southern Ontario has been a great summer so far compared to last year. Only did a couple of ladies on the deck and if anything they'll be early harvest, thinking last week of September for these babies...

Looking great dude. I hear you on that online equipment. My 400 watt cost probably twice as much as I could have ordered it for but I wanted to be able to return it locally and quickly if there was an issue. There was and I got a same day replacement. Sometimes it's better to spend more, but shit like Carbon filters and fans I get from either amazon.ca or from the states.

Shipping and duties on ballasts and hoods can get RIDICULOUS! I tried to order a ballast from Cali they wanted double what it was worth to ship it.

Amazon.ca has a tonne of grow shit, just make sure you get it gift wrapped if you order anything big. Or else you will have UPS guy walking to your door with the product box for the whole world to see.

Thanks and cheers @Mr.Head, hear you on the shipping, some items just aren't worth it once shipping/taxes/duties are added in. I find if the product originates in the US though, by the time the distributor up here buys in USD, pays their shipping and adds a mark-up, the pricing is typically lower buying it straight from the US. Just more volume and suppliers down there, difficult for Canadian suppliers to compete with some items.

Good call-out on the stealth shipping, most will ship in manila-type packaging but not always...

we had an exceptional nice summer on the west coast, in fact it was a drought, so lots of sunshine.

I use auto's for my sunshine grows, as I get limited sun, so with auto;s i can harvest in August.

IMHO, you will likely need to go until mid to late October to get those gals fully matured

these were my 2015 indoor sunshine grow

nope....just sitting back and smoking my buds.....going to take a vacation in October, then I'll fire up some seeds
Nice I'm almost out of my autostash. Good thing my swamp skunk is almost done. My white grizzly tops are 3 times as fat but seawarp has 3 times as many lol. And I really don't know what's happening with ppb. I don't think she'll finish. VSB has gone downhill with their stock. And I have a feeling the seed they sent me was even a ppb. I don't think I'll order from there anymore

yeah...I'm really disappointed with VSB, as the ratio of males to females was ridicules (maybe just my bad luck) and a poor selection, and steep prices.

Marc Emery recently opened a new store on Davies & Cardero.... they have a wide range of seeds at reasonable prices....I just may try them

And again, I'm really choked with Crop King, as this last batch had it all...non-auto's, a fem that became male, and my Jack Herer is loaded with seeds...not to mention the piss poor germination rates.

I regret buying so many this year, so I have lots to share if you should come visit the big city

yes, I'm saving all the seeds from the Jack but just not sure if I want to grow them....may give a few to the x-girlfriend as she's too cheap to buy proper seeds

edit....I'll be interested in how your cross breading turns out

Welcome!

This thread has been quiet for a while....prolly not too many canucks on this site???? I dunno...lol
There seems to be quite a few Canadian members but few growers, or at least if there are, they're quiet... Here's my latest shot of the outdoor girls on the weekend, great summer here (ON) for outdoor!

Damn that sucks, we're usually good until 1st week of October. I've looked at pics from previous years and they all got chopped between Oct 1st and 5th. This is a DIY JTR x Blueberry cross that can finish in 7 1/2 weeks indoor, first time outside and it looks like it'll finish by end of the month :)
