Canada is in the spot light now. Now is your time to be exposed on a global level. Just saying your country could have been more proactive to see the dangers and acted more proactively . Seeing the problems in California and Colorado should have been a wake up call for your county . Don’t fret , we are sending help your way. We always come to the rescue. Too bad it had to come to this though.
my carbon footprint is small to 99% of the population . I was never selfish enough to pop out another human unit to this overpopulated shit show.
I don’t know what you expect Canada to do about the environmental impact of the world burning fossil fuels for the past couple of centuries but I’m sorry we disappointed you by being less proactive.

On behalf of all Canadians, I apologize in advance for the upcoming hurricane season.

Thank you, I appreciate the compassion while my fellow Americans are gasping for air and dying from your smoke.

LOL It been a few decades since anyone/thing tried to seduce me LOL. It could be an actual parrot running for tories, I just want selfie boy out. And Nobody votes for federal NDP, they will never lead the country, and are more important as a tool for minority governing. Even provincially we gave Bob Rae a chance and learned our lesson. Opposition is important and Ed Broadbent was a stand up commie, singh is a self-serving fence sitter who allowed the military action against our own people. Wish we could dig up the trio of Reagan, Thatcher and Mulroney, the most solid times in my life so far.
You missed Trump, then you'd have the four horsemen of the apocalypse, five if you add Putin.

So Reagan, Thatcher and Mulroney seduced you?

Greenland's glaciers should drown Florida when they go, maybe Trump should have bought it, they are going independent from Denmark so an invasion would be easy...

So, Canada wasn't raking the floors its forests. Ever since Trump pointed out to California that the wildfires were their fault due to shabby grooming of their forests, they have been raking them. Haven't had a single wildfire since. Get on with it man, Maybe we need a jingle. Like:

Raking every day makes wild fires go away.

You gotta be trolling. Go play with someone else.
I am just trying to have a conversation. I understand it’s intense and quite emotionally distressful .but You have nothing of substance to add to my insightful thoughts about some of your most important indigenous people being treated so poorly over the years with pollution and now their homes will burn and they will go extinct. This did not need to happen to them. Don’t bother answering me since you just want to insult me .

You have selective hearing. So much of what I try to converse about you ignore and only want to distract from the subjects and start talking about stuff unrelated.

We can do no more about forest fires than we can about glaciers melting, we need to get off fossil fuels ASAP. It is a global issue and one we are starting to address, perhaps too late though, we will see, but we must try.

Human activity, technology and products such as camp fires, power lines, agricultural burning and off-road vehicles typically cause more fires in the early part of fire season, while lightning causes those in the late summer. Last year, 49% of wildfires across the country were caused by human activity.

All fires, whether they’re caused by lightning or people, thrive under conditions that include dry vegetation and hot and windy weather.

Climate change likely played a role in creating the conditions for record breaking heat in May that contributed to the dryness of plants and organic matter, experts say, and the current windiness allows the fires to spread rapidly.

The sands pump out more than 3 million barrels of oil per day, helping make Canada the world’s fourth-largest oil producer and the top exporter of crude to the United States. Their economic benefits are significant: Oil is the nation’s top export, and the mining and energy sector as a whole accounts for nearly a quarter of Alberta’s provincial economy. But the companies’ energy-hungry extraction has also made the oil and gas sector Canada’s largest source of greenhouse gas emissions. And despite the extreme environmental costs, and the growing need for countries to shift away from fossil fuels, the mines continue to expand, digging up nearly 500 Olympic swimming pools-worth of earth every day.
Greedy Canada.

They won't be around much longer and will be among the first to go with the decline of oil, high cost of production and transport problems along with being dirty oil. EVs will take over the roads in a decade and renewables will be generating most of the power the demand for gasoline should drop over the next decade.
