Canna Coco System

Not sure if I'm getting this excatly... What I'm saying
is if you were watering with 10 liters of water
you should have 3 liters of water coming out........ Get it?

And salt index is just another way to say your TDS in your
coco would get higher. Canna even recommends to water like
3 times a day, which I refuse to do, I water every third day, water, no, no, water, no, no, water

thanks for the reply shrubs I think I was asking you if I'm letting enough runoff when watering......but um I think I get it now:eyesmoke:

yeh no way I'm watering 3 times a day either. I'm a noob to this hole thing and don't know much about TDS, but I'm guesing you mean that the salt build up in the coco will get higher as the coco drys out more.

I water every 4th day. water,no,no,no, water, no,no,no,water but now I'm considering watering every 3rd

You got it man bongsmilie

10% runoff is what you want if you're running soil.

Canna recommends a 30% run-off, and that the coco
be kept moist, and never allowed to dry out like you
would allow soil, this is because even when Coco is fully
saturated it still retains around 25% air, I've never over
watered in Canna coco... You just don't want to let the roots
get too dry.. Also when coco dries out the salt index goes
through the roof.

Yeah good call I grow in canna coco using the canna nutes, and you def want about 30% run off, and NEVER let it dry out the SALTS will get you!!!:bigjoint:
