Bravo guys this thread has been one of the more interesting threads I've read in a while(moving to coco soon).....keep us posted abucks you have my full attention...
Thank you green house! I hope to keep this thread as informative as possible according to my experience as I grow. So far everyone has been great, no trolls like a lot of the other forms I keep tabs on. My hope with this thread is to learn from others constructive criticism, ideas, experiences. My goal is to document my experiences so others can learn from my mistakes and successes. One of my mottos is, never trust somebody who knows it all, or has the perfect system. We all learn continually, and hopefully pass on and share what we learn to help the community as a whole. Feel free to post any ideas, ask for any advice, or just fallow along for the ride :)

Just had look yes very nice what do you think of the matrix ballast its just that's all I run
I ran lumatek air-cooled for the last 4 years, and was happy wirh them. That is untill the FCC shut them down for horrible amounts of emi. Much research, and a few months of running them, and it's the only ballast I'll go with from here on out. The only thing I wish they would incorporate into their ballast would be an air cooling feature. I have a fan running over mine right now, and it works, but if they were internally air cooled it would be much more convenient. How do you like yours?

First time that i have not done a scrog this grow, and to be honest its been nice to see them big cola's.But i will be back scrogging next time, the reason i did not this time is i had plants sexing so i did not want to throw netting over em incase they turned out to be males only one was out the 3 ,but this could be a very good thing ,the weight all ready in my room is just un real the weight of the ugos blue's never know buds weigh has much.Since adding that extra 600 i am fighting to shut the door, but im not complaining,I up date the grow next week, crowing has just started pretty latish for the jack herer it normally shows crowns at 5 week on wards,Think this one might even run 10 week

The are a little on the pricey end here. $275 shipped to my door, but worth the extra few dollars.

I only use the 600 but I no the guy at hydro shop well. Got them for $180 here they have come down in price a lot from when I got the first 4. I like the idea of them having no fans in them no dust and very quiet

That is true. The quietest I've run yet. There is not much dust in the room where I keep them, so I run a small 4" fan over them, and it keeps them cool to the touch.

Have you thought about running an deionizer? I used one when I was growing a basement, and it completely eliminated my dust problem. I haven't needed one recently, because my rooms are totally sealed.

I couldn't agree more. From less watering, to more buffering capabilities, big pots are the way to go. I've had a few people jump on me about this. I'm thinking I may do a side by side next round. Everyone seems to think 5 gallons is plenty, so I'm going to one 5 gallon, and see for myself how much better it is. I already know the answer to that! Lol
Sure it should work in theory, you just have to veg longer and get the root system established before flowering. The turnover won't be as quick but yield will be higher.

That is not what I'm experiencing with this grow. From rooted clone to flower cycle in 2 weeks. And my clones were rooted in one liter pots planted directly into the 40 liters of canna. I have a thread started, 2k querkle scrog. Pics from first day of veg to 10 days in flower.

I do are agree with you a bit my plants I veg for about 4 up to 5 weeks from clones. Picking the right strain is one of the most importing thing I can turn around every 7 weeks with the strain I have. My plants will be about a metre across and will all ways pull 1 and half lbs pre plant.
