Cannabis strains for sports/exercise

Couldn't find a topic that features a similar discussion so I wanted to see if there's anyone using cannabis to get the extra energy boost for some sports activity or any kind of exercising, yoga, meditation etc.

I've gotta be honest, I live in a country where there isn't a lot of choice considering the strains, or have I tried a lot of them during my lifetime. It's pretty much what you grow - you have. I've grown my own batch of White Widow's last year and it's pretty much everything I smoked all year. I've still got some and it's great, but the high really depends on the situation and your own mentality at the moment, which is not surprising since of it's 60/40 mixed genetics. For example, I'm a climber and sometimes me and my friends like to smoke before training, and sometimes we really get an energetic boost and get hyperactive, but sometimes we can't do shit and just want to lie down and listen to some music. I really love it, it's great in almost every situation/activity you can stumble into, but I'd like to grow something energetic only.

I've decided to try with Super Lemon Haze this year in the hopes it could be it, and am really excited to try it out, heard only great stuff about it. Also got some balanced White Widow's again and Northern Lights for chilling, so should be a good year :D

So, what's your strain of choice if you consume it before or during your favorite activity? :)

I cant do it. 10 push ups are stupid when you are stoned. A whole set of push up ridiculous and sweating is a waste of fluids. Rolling another spliff on the other hand does make more sense.
Soo for me not one strain would work.

I smoke a fat joint before every workout and love it. While I can and do smoke both Indica and Sativa I prefer Sativas for workouts, try pretty much any Haze or Sativa leaning Hybrid.
