Had to axe a pretty nice sized Grapelatti (Gelati x Grape Pie) in week 3ish of flower for having around 10-12 balls. Shame, she was a beauty.

I usually chalk up herms to user error but i distinctly remember popping another one of these beans a while back and it also hermed really bad, just an fyi yall.

i work with a lot of grape pie hybrids for work, some of them herm out around day 15-20 every run. Wedding Pie especially.

how bad? And whats your protocols on a bigger grow for herms? Id imagine one missed pollen sac can spell disaster in a room with many plants. It was 1 of 4 plants in the room and i was devastated. My yield was just cut by 25%. I thought about just pinching them but if its more than a few i usually just axe the plant for the good of the other plants.

A lot of modern genetics are super herm prone so im not exactly surprised, and now that i think about it my gmo x grape pie plants also hermed and seeded most of my crop a while back, i must have missed a nanner or ball in a part of the SCROG screen i couldnt get to. The nug was absolutely fire otherwise and luckily sold just fine even folks getting 10 or so seeds per 8th, but thats a mishap id rather avoid ever happening again. Another good reason to clone and save the plants you run across that are super stable!

well..it takes manual labor to scout and remove the intersex male flowers. I truly dont think one or two small pollen sacks can do much damage especially with adequate ventilation/exhaust. it must have been perhaps a full branch or many clusters to fully pollinate your room?

it was a closet grow, so my exhaust is minimal, a bathroom fan wired to draw air to my attic. I did a once over on all of the plants after the scrog net came down and only found a few opened balls way down low. If your fans are mostly just moving air around im sure a single sack at the right stage of flower can be disastrous

I put 10 seeds down, got 4 females , here is the forth. All four have a l little different smell, the pic here has that meat gravy chem smell, the other two have this sour d , chem, dough smell with a little gravy, and the round top tall one is more gmo candy side with gravy. Cannarado describes poutine well. I threw all my males out , so I bought another pack to save the profile, I bought his Magenta, Jello Freezer, and Grape Freezer and all give extra shine....that male gives high male counts , but the female offsprings are above averagepoutine8.jpg

Yerp and Tuna have both grown some of them and they look fantastic. Tuna isnt as active here anymore hes still on ig a lot though, i forget his actual username but rado tags him sometimes.

I hate to say it but im becoming a bit bored of all the renamed cookies rado has been working with lately. Almost every time i search the lineage of a strain in one of these crosses they have some of the same 10 renamed gelatos in there
Yeah I have to agree brotha. I feel like I never want to smoke any gelato cut ever again in my life. He seems to have narrowed down a pretty specific strain list and I either didn’t like them (cocomero, bubblegum biscotti, LPC75) or I already have lots. (Zawtz etc )
The upcoming drops all look like rehashes of the same old shit. Zellati and zawtlatti and more grape. Zzzzzzzzzzzz.

This one looks most like the mother "Gravy" clone. Same bud structure. Beautiful plant nice work

Baby backs staggered harvest started on day 75 and completed day 82. The slight sweetness that reminded me of juicy fruit gum it had before is no longer to be found, it's all gas and b.o. but maybe it'll come back after the cure?... Pleasure to grow honestly, would recommend popping these beans if you have any sitting in your stash.

Appapaya, day 28, reeks of rotten fruit in the best way possible. When the fans and filters are off it overwhelms the room. Nice bushy little plant, definitely keeper potential. Probably on track to finish under 9 weeks I’m thinking.
edit:wide angle and perspective make it look much larger. It’s also sitting on a riser hiding other plants for this pic. It’s still a beast in a 3 gallon pot.
