This is my second try. My plants are 6 1/2 wks into veg. Here is what I got going on.

2- 65w 6500k FluoreX brilliant white lights.
1-15w GrowL led.
2 3/4'w by 2 3/4'd by 4 1/2 tall closet.
Wtr. with tap water bout 3 to 4 days.
1 water no nutes next 2 ff grow big nutes(1/2 of what it calls 4).
Soil- MG Organic.
My question is I watered with nutes this morn and now most of my bigger lvs. are lookin wilted and a little curled up? My lights were at 4" so I moved them too 8". Any comments would b F#@%in awesome.

One last question if u got the time. Should I leave the two 65w brilliant whites when I start to flower or just the 8 cfl's?

Why's that LED so far away? It produces no heat, so it should be the closest of the lights, not the farthest away.

Manes, I put it about 1" from the tops three days ago and within about 10 hrs the top cola lookin things and the big leaves on top started looking wilted and a little dry so I put it back up where I have always had it. Do u think I need too put it back down?

the leaves droop after a heavy watering for a bit, your fine on that. what are your temps at? do you hve an oscilating fan blowing on the plant? i keep my cfls 2-3 cm away from my plants, w/a strong fan blowing on them whisking away the heat to the exauhst fans. your plants look fine besides that one leaf w/the yellowish stripes on it. looks like you might have a bug problem or something.

those lights are weak sauce your gonna barely pull anything with those not trying to talk shit but you should invest in some HID lighting and the plants look fine btw. but yeah as much light as you can get so put all your lights together if you can excpet that LED belongs in the trash you might as well string Christmas lights those things are worthless

dont bash leds, youve no idea of the improvements that have been made to them and they are getting better all the time. if your gonna bash something you should make sure you actually know what your talking about.

sooo would you rather spend $1500 on one nice led that will cover a 4x4 area (at most) or spend $1500 buying HIDs and be able to cover 3 times that amount and put out huge buds comparatively and have a maybe 10 times larger yield?!? just throwing it out there

thats the thing, price has gone down substanially too, i've seen some pretty impressive led setups that cost 150=250 that are in the same league as a hps about (im trying to find the guys grow journals, i just cant remember the usernames), youve just got to put them together yourself, which isnt too hard.
the one guy generated an incredible amount of lumens, it was over a million.
