Yes, they have been on lucas formula=cal/mag for about a week now. My floods are for 15 minutes. The h-ton, all tubes, and nutes were bought brand new for this round. Hydrofarm tubes, so I don't believe they are toxic like NGW. I'm all ears..I have GH3, botanicare cal/mag, floroblend,superthrive and willing to change if a combination of those don't do it.

Hellraizer, I have studied much of your writings. I will put whatever mix you suggest. 1.6 ec to high with only 1-2 roots poking out the bottom of buckets? Rootboosters?

Yes cause lucas was based on the thought that micro has enough in it to eliminate the grow,big mistake,
With gh i found 5/8/16 was a winner!

Well from Taking a second look at the first pics and now the new ones it looks to me like you are staying with the schedule. And didn't correct the def. But overloaded on stuff they don't need and burnt them. It looks to me like your P def and maybe N rich. I would cut back on the nutes to 3/4 and add P. Maybe just 1/4 or 1/2 of what it says. Roots look great so uptake shouldnt take to long. So you have nute burn and deficiency at once. I'm gonna say sence your still vegging ppm should be around 900 till this is corrected. And as for mag? If your using RO water yes you need it. Tap water not really but in some cases yes. Without knowing you water it's hard to say. You should start seeing thing change in a day or 2. If no new growth is showing these signs on the 3rd or 4th day you can cut the defective leaves off and read only what the plant is now telling you.

Thanks for the help Warlock, now all I need is bugs to complete the problem since I have everything else eh. I know I've caused much of it by starting with one mix and didn't get growth in a few days so I was trying different thing a few days apart if no differece was noticed. Unfortunately I just restocked on GH and wife wasn't thrilled about buying a whole other line. So I'm gonna try hellraizers recommended 5-8-16. Not sure how much cal/mag yet. I'm gonna shoot for around 700ppm and bump up daily to 900 if they are liking it. I have superthrive but usually don't use it, any thoughts?

so if you started turning the lights off even for 1-4 hours they should bounce back. You must have a fan somewhere so I would just say misting the soil or leaves with water to increase the humidity might help, the plant in soil looked so much better, maybe because soil retains water so much better than hydroton. you might be missing something obvious if you just switch nutrients, look at the big picture.
you could get something out of it if you go into flowering but not what you would get from it if it was healthy. I would like to say I know what the problem is but you could ask at a nursery or home depot, tell them the leaf margin is yellow, dried and discolored, but green around the rest of the leaf, it looked dry and hot I think

Yes sir, did that 4 out of 5 runs in this system. That's why I'm here. Had lots of luck other ways but I feel like I'm the only one in the world that has problems with buckets. Every one else I see has beautiful plants in it.

Oh not true. I fucked up my last grow it was a simple mistake that cost me 1.5z a plant. Alot of times you see pics of the good grows from people that have done it a few times. We don't really post the bad. We know what we did wrong so don't ask for help.

A learning curve.

And if you get bugs use mighty wash. It's the only thing I will have I'm my room now. Well beside a few sticky strips to catch flying fuckers.
