CAUTION: Not All LE Tubes are Wiredd The Same

Diodes are 3528 Epistar.

Chronikool, what say ye?

I emailed LED Magazine about the need for a standard for wiring led tubes

all you do with these bulbs you linked , is take the wires that are 120v AC, disconnect them from the ballast, and wire them DIRECTLY to the ends. from what I read and my wife tells me (she's a led connoisseur ) our electric bill went down by 60.00 a month once we switched all the house to LED's, the bulb does the conversion to 36 V Direct not AC . I hope I did not misunderstand you, and not trying to be a smarty pants

for MMJ this is all cool, but sometimes the money to benefits is not there, just have to read a lot, before you put the cash out, the first wave we bought were spot style and died in sections, at first lights of america replaced them under warranty, but then later on they died again usually in pizza slice sections. one thing with led's is they usually don't die, they "just fade away " ( McArthur in my head) so put that into your estimates

Yes, and no. I mean 'no' for those of us who have been playing around with leds for a good while now.

People are always going to chase the rabbit for a few extra grams, IMHO, ozs ain't gonna happen by simply adding 660 & 730.

It's all a matter of balance

All we need to do is get in the ball park. The plants will likely be able to make small adjustments

Of course I could be wrong about this. Totally speculative, but you saw what captainmorgan did with all 9w Cree globes, right? F me, I'd be stoked.

I get that quality under my HOT5s, and didn't do too shabbily growing the mother of my 4 current clones under ~ 50w of household globes then finished by adding a RB ufo 90. I'm way ahead of that grow now thanks to 92w of led tubes spreading light evenly over 3ft of canopy

Ummm..im a bit lost. I just wanted to know how many watts these use. I like to monitor my ACTUAL power usage, so it interests me. A bridge too far i guess....i'll leave it.
