Cfl lighting...

I now have 2 105w equivulant to 1000w cfl and 2 26w cfl equivulant to 200w...Does it look ok?

would add a few more,if u plan on using them to flower,and keep the plants short.Read around and im sure you'll find what u need to know.

26W cfl's=100W equivilent.
105W=400W

looking good! I think that should be plenty of light for now.

Here is proof that the 105 watt cfl bulbs I have put out 500w.Well at least the box says it does...lol

Those wattages are kind of useless.. Conservation of energy principle says you can't get more than 105W of light from a 105W bulb.. And plants don't see light the same way we do, so lumens aren't the most effective rating either.. PAR Watts relate directly to plant absorbtion, so read up on that, then overlay your bulbs spectrum and do the math if you really want a non BS number..
Bottom line is it really doesn't matter how many watts of whatever POS bulb they compare it to, its as useful as your plants say it is..

agree. the only thing that matters is the actual wattage, not the incandescent equivalent rating.
