yo man if your working on a budget, you can order the ballast and the bulb and the socket separately and wire it yourself. I got a ballast from 1000bulbs for 60 bucks, bulb for 7bucks (not enhanced so you want supplemental lighting), and then found a contractor store like 30 mins away that hooked it up with a mogul socket. You gotta wire it yourself, but i was able to do it and am by no means an electrician. Total cost for each 400 watt hps was like 100$, DIY is the way to go.

i said thats what im gonna do in my last post, i fucked up and spelt shit wrong but hey i was sober. LOL im going with strait floros for veg and a 400w hps for the flower room.

Hey htanks man i never thought of that im building everyother part of the woom and set up myself. i hate paying so much for shit that you can buy at a store and with a little work make it yourself, plus i think that at least mentaly the product is better in the end because you have put to much blood swat and tears in it, i also brew my own beer and make my own wiskey and i can make a fat tire clone(means i ust there recipe) and it will be a million times better than what i can buy at the store, same recipe and everything but i made it myself and it makes me feel good to be drinking/eating/smoking something that i made. I would like to say htank you once again to everyone on this site for being so helpful, i would really be lost in hte dark without you all, from the newb to the excperts we all have something to pitch in, even if its not that great of advise
