cfl or hps

hi people

what would be better for 2 plants one lr and one lr 2 one 125 watt cfl or a 150 watt hps ??? what would be the heat output of one of those 150 watt hps ?

HPS. Heat output of 150w won't be too bad. Get a fan.

could i use it for the whole grow ?
