Cfl Veg!!!

I have a current grow going in which Im growing Himalayan Gold, Afghan Kush, Strawberry Cough and Gigabud all purchased from Attitude Seed Bank. My question I need to know is would it be ok to use cfl's that have a color temp of 3000k for veg?? Thanks all for the help!

6500k is what i was told to use

6500k bulbs clearly outgrow 2700-3000k bulbs.

Try to get a daylight CFL 6500k. Your plants will respond better to it. 2700k and around that are better for flowering. Also if your growing from seed the light can have an influence on sex.

try 50/50 ,2700k 6500k.

So are you saying that 6500k light bulbs will grow fast than 3000k?? Because I have some 40 watt soft white 3000k cfl's which I switched from 2 4 foot long cool white fluorescent bulbs.

if u already have 3000k save them for flowering, the better for that but 6500k are better for vegging

Thank you everyone. I still dont know what to do. Can you take cfl's back to walmart cuz the other day I went and bought 2 packs of the 26 watt cfls and there is 6 bulbs in each pack. I dont need cfl's for flowering cuz I have a 1000 watt hps light.

Well Im going to have to take them back and exchange them for some daylight cfl's. It seems like all the higher watt cfl's I checked were in the 3000k range or lower, why's that??

Try a hardware store, they are more likely to have the brighter cfl's
I use "Phillips Daylight Mini Twisters" they are 6500k

How much watts are they??

23w but you wouldn't think it to look at em.

Yeah about to take these back and get the daylight 26w cfls. Thanks for the info
