Cfls for vegging?

Alright so I'm setting up a small veg room and I want to ideally use 4 cfl bulbs, I found a four pack of 23w (100watt)5000k medium base daylight decorative bulbs. Can Anyone with some experience tell me if these will grow a squat, healthy plant if trained correctly?

yes, it will.. Im using cfls, its my first grow.. And I have 4 Bushy short plants about 12"x12" in 4 to 5 weeks time.. I have 4 100 watt 5000k and 4 6500k for 4 plants in a 3'x3' cardboard box I cut up and lined with tinfoil lol it works

may not be as powerful and great as hp's and ms's and all that but it works just fine for a lil grow

I topped 3 and left 1 untouched,, My suggestion is top, Top, TOP

I only topped once, and its perfect

Yeah man I've got experience with everything BUT cfls so I really wasn't sure. I plan on a lot of LST and topping

I am now 2 weeks in Flowering exactly and can today Very Clearly See 1 of the 4 is Female with those white pistils... WeEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!! lol I have 6 ,100 watt 2700 and 2 ,60 watt 2700 ..... the other 3 I cant tell yet..

the one I can tell its gender female, I didn't top.. The other 3 I did , and cant tell if their male or female yet.... all bag seed

But its my first ever and don't know anybody who ever grew, so I'm excited about this lol yaa hooooooo!! lol
