cfm rating

so i just realized that my carbon filter is 140 cfm and my fan pulling through it is 160 cfm. is this going to be a problem? i have another fan but i think its cfm is only like 80. suggestions?
My room is only about 20 cubic ft if im not mistaking

Supposedly the filter can only filter air at its CFM rating and anything beyond wont get filtered properly. Id just try it out and see if you notice any smell and go from there.

Although with a room that small the 80cfm fan should pull enough air to ventilate enough also.

Sounds like a 2x2x5 tent being exhausted by a 4" inline fan. You will be fine using that fan and filter for that small a space. Now we are talking CUBIC feet and not SQUARE feet right?

Yes exactly. 24x24x60. only about 20 cubic feet i know the fan is a little stronger but i also have a small piece of ducting between the fan and filter. maybe that will help some too?

Better to have to much cfm than too little, I'd run it with the 4inch 140 cfm fan, and during flower if you can smell it outside the tent get yourself a fan motor speed controller and you can lower your fan cfm's that way.
