CH9 Green Bud Fem Grow

Hey all- I started 2 CH9 Green Bud seeds on 7/31- both germed nicely- they are in 3 gal kitty litter containers in a 3x3 tent with a 400 watt hps as the light. Vegged until yesterday and went 12/12 today. Both plants are way larger than i expected...nice. I was away from 8-2 until 8-10 and used a drip auto system (oasis watering system) and i couldnt believe the results, man that thing worked like a charm. I also had to use scotts potting soil with nutes (my reg stuff was out) and let me tell ya it seems to be working nice, or the ch9 green bud just likes the nutes in the soil. I am very curious about the ch9 stuff so i'll update this journal about every 2 days or so...i'll also post some pics later

i think im going to have to invest in HPS if i do a 2nd grow, that 2 weeks growth puts my 3 weeks to shame!

Thanks for the positive comments. Since the soil has those time released nutes in it i figure i'll go with pure H2O and suppliment with guano and liquid karma once a week, I really like this oasis system- i can basicly ignor the plants and check them every 2-3 days. When i planted the seedlings (3 days old) i had to go away so i just set up the drippers and set it to water 2 times a day, for a total of about 4 oz a day- that seemed to do ok in the 3 gal kitty litter containers- they were on their own for 10 days and they seemed to thrive. Highest temp in the tent during the 10 days was 87 degrees, lowest was 70. My setup is this

3x3 tent by 6 feet tall
400 watt hps with an agromax bulb and cool tube
elf carbon filter and blower- all hooked to the cool tube and exhaused out the back of the tent
scotts potting soil (i know, i know, but i had no other options)
4 inch clip on fan blowing on the 2 girls
CH9 Green Bud Feminized seeds from the good doc

this is my fourth grow
1st- lowryder 2 -see avitar for pic of plant
2nd- lowryder 2, even better harvest
3rd- afghan kush and nevilles haze x northern lights cross- awsome buds and i still got a ton of it

Anyway i'll post pics every 2-3 days and give updates.....comments, advise or critisism is always welcome.....

Kudos to you they are looking extremely healthy.

Ok 4 days later- temp 81 humidity 45% still using the oasis drip system with pure h2o and added bat guano and liquid karma. I'm a bit baffled at the speed of the growth here- its the first time ive used the ch9 genetics and i have to say i'm super impressed...planted 3 seeds and all three sprouted and one was lost due to my stupidity. Anyway here are some more pics enjoy and please comment..

Ok 4 days later- temp - high was 80 low was 74 for the week. Oasis drip system still being used. Nutes- liquid karma and bat guano. Growth seems fast and strong- stems are strong and leaves are green with no brown spots. looks good so far. Comments welcome

off topic note- was at a party last night and some guy was bragging he had some
"super hydro stuff" that he paid 700 an oz for ...i broke out a bag of my nevilles haze x sour nl that i harvested in july and he was shocked at how good my stuff was. They were all asking where i got it but i just sat there and smiled...its so nice when the stuff you grow your self is better than that hyped up super weed thats goes around every now and then...any way

4 days later temp 70-78 humid 35-42 % nutes liquid karma and bat guano

Growth has been impressive, had to raise my light 3 times in 4 days. Does anyone know how big this ch9 greenbud gets? Buds are forming up nice....cant wait till mid oct!!!!!!

Hey all....its been 8 days since last post...temp range 70-80 f humid 30-45% grow is great and buds are starting to look nice...still got 45 days or so to go. I love these ch9 seeds...so much vigor and growth. still using plain water in the oasis watering system (see last pic) and i add guano and liquid karma once a week ,,the soil has added nutes so i'm not adding much.
Please comment and next post in 4 days or so

These plants are 3 weeks into flower- any idea how much more height they'll get. I've tied one down already and i'm going away for 9 days and i'll let the oasis watering system water them, but they are a little bleached on the tops due to agressive growth and getting too close to the cool tube. I guess i can really tie them down good before i go, but i figured i'd ask the group if they had any ideas.

Ok, i left the 10th on my trip...got back on the 21st. Had the oasis system on a 2x a day drip cycle....worked like a charm. highest temp over the 11 days..83...lowest 70. Humid was between 35-45%. look at the pics and please comment...i really love the vigor of the ch9 stuff...about 20 more days to go...yaaaa

BTW- the main colas are about 10-12 inches tall and the plant has tons of buds going on...all nice sized...the plants are about 3 feet tall.

Thanks cheetah i thought i was the only one looking at this journal....just started some more ch9 green bud and world of seeds afghan kush in cups...so far i haven't had the best of luck with the wos stuff, but i can be a bit of a dope sometimes and fuck things up...anyway seeeeya

ur not the only one lol!

Ok here we are a week later....temps holdong at 77 during the day, 60-65 at night...humidity solid at 35%....plats are about 3-3.5 feet tall...smell nice, not skunky, more like a pine forest, with a hint of flowers. I misread my calander, and the 8 week mark is a week from today, but i'm gonna go 9 weeks then a 48 hour dark period. No water 4 days before the dark period. I've only done 3 prior grows but have learned a ton by mistakes and people on this board. I figure the lack of water and dark will spur one last push of resin, that and the extra week should give me that big bad body stone i want. Ya see i'm a medicinal user (4 fractures to my back 2 years ago and i had a 5 disk fusion to fix it--so painful that they had me on dilaudid 4 times a day....trust me that stuff is the best, but it can and did cause a problem with me ) and imostly smoke for pain relief...and i live in a f-ing state that doesnt recognize the medicinal properties of bud. Looking at these plats i figur about 4 oz dry is a good estimate, but it may turn out better. The big buds you see are about double the size of a bud can...so you be the judge...alll comments welcome and please if you have a suggestion please post it.....PB

Hey I guess no ones reading this one....anyway cut the water down by 1/3...no extra liquid karma or guano....according to ch9 the plants should be done on the 8th, but I'm going for the 15th. Should i go all dark on the 13th??? Any opinions on this?? I looked at a leaf under the micro and were at 40/60 amber and cloudy/clear. I highly recommend the ch9 stuff, I've never seen plants with so much vigor and strength. Lets see how the smoke is but man does this stuff look good. Please comment or advice is appreciated.
