Coming soon to a journal near you.. HB! She is 18 days into flower now, photos soon.

Hey McCone - gotta see those HB pics, how long are you at with yours now? Coming up to 10 weeks with mine and I don't think they gonna last much longer....:eyesmoke:

:peace:DST:joint:
lovin em weed/hash mixes bru
It is one of my favorite strains for sure my man! Esp the Cali headband.. They have it good out there.. I am going to go with the majority of what I have read and say clone only, yet, I have seen folks breed their own headband cross (using OG Kush X Master Kush X Sour Diesel) and get headband seed that way.. It is super hyped in folklore.. Honestly, it grows almost like my northern lights did - A lot of vigor. At the end of the day, if it doesn't come out amazing, sour diesel or jock horror will probably grow where headband would have in my perpetual.

i just smoked some headband my friend brought back from cali WHOA BUDDY! i actually felt like i had a headband on LMAO cant wait to see how yours turn out. is headband clone only or is in seed form too?

Just popped 100-150 ripe, tiger striped seeds out of the two lower branches I pollinated.. NL x TOP 44 and NL x NL. In maybe 10% of the buds you might find a single seed, but other 90% of the crop came out sensi even with my first selective pollination attempt.. This will provide enough seeds to keep these strains going for quite some time to come..

Slabhead, I already popped all my intentional seeds out of the branches I pollinated. So I had to look through a couple jars to find any bud with a seed, I finally found one, here she is. You can see the swollen calyx in the middle with a sliver of seed showing..

KHO, if you're willing to move, then I could be your neighbor. LOL! If I had saved any pollen I would have already pollinated my headband with Northern lights to get some seed. I only kept one male to work with, so it wasn't enough pollen to store any.. If I like the headband though, it is easy enough for me to get another clone and seed that one..

I already LOVE headband. I just dont know if I will love growing it. (So far it is great, outperforming the rest of my clone strains)

I think you'll have a blast growing it chief. They seem to be right sturdy girls, and resistant to mildew as well, good for the coming cold months outside my grow room under the sea.....brrrr

Mold resistant, awesome.
Just realized the powdery mildew might be from not exhausting at night and having the stale air sit inside the tent...
Anyone care to co-sign this hypothesis?..
I bought a controller today to run the exhaust on a schedulle, it is now replacing the air in the tent 2x with 15 minute intervals.
Also hooked up my carbon filter for the first time.. The headband plant reaks soo bad already that I HAD to hook it up. Opening the tent is smellier than opening a cola jar... Photos soon..

My exhaust naturally runs throughout the night on a lower setting (runs throughout the whole house constantly) so I would say night time you need to keep that going Mcone. I am guessing that mildew is growing most at night (or under crossed over leaves, shaded leaves, etc.) so having good circulation at night I am also guessing is important. I also have my fans inside the grow space running at night, perhaps that's why I burn through their motors all the time. So I guess that was a long was of saying, Yes, I am with that hypothesis even if you don't get mildew

(lots of guessing here, just waking and baking with my first joint of headband:eyesmoke:)

Just also read that mildew thrives around heat....

The top 44 looks beautiful! Where did you get the seeds/clones for it? I'm a medical patient in Bay Area and would be stoked to find this lady if one of the clubs or something has some cuttings.
