Chance to make a difference.

I met a young woman who is a behavioral neuro scientist specializing and researching the physiological effects of canabanoids on humans. This research has the potential to affect generations to come in the treatment of disease that has plagued mankind. We also have the opportunity to finally legitimize what many of have known for a long time in that marijuana is not harmful but beneficial in many ways.
She is asking for data pertaining to strain evaluation, what is being grown, how it is grown, hydro, soil, indoor, outdoor, organic, pesticide usage etc. She has also requested what strains are being applied to what malady, how effective it is in it's management and how it is being used, smoke, vapor, medible, oil, etc.
All information is anonymous and will be used for research purposes only. For years the government has made it impossible for researchers to do any significant studies in this area and have stymied growth at any possible turn. this young person has devoted her academic life and career to this pursuit and by the way her own money. She adjuncts her income by being a an artist because this sure don't pay the bills. I would love to be able to bury her in data for research. In turn she can provide data to the rest of the medical community and we can get this medical thing jump started. It's not just about us. It's about our children, our children's children and generations to come after that.

Thanks for sharing a random post about some researcher in some place, somewhere in the world. I'm sure with the vague information you provided someone, somewhere, somehow, will help.

That story and request for information sounded about as believable and as fishy as the Nigerian scams that I get in emails saying a vast fortune is waiting for me and all I have to do to get it is pay a $500.00 transaction fee and give my bank account numbers so the funds can be transferred.

Well... To take Brick Top's side here... If she is a legit researcher she shouldn't mind her name and info being made available (not talking about phone number or email address I mean credentials etc)...

I would think she would also need some sort of structured or scientific means back up claims like "The XYZ Strain is the bomb for arthirtus" or "ZXY has a 20% THC content and works for pain"... Do you see what I'm saying?

While I'd be happy to help out with data but I can't as I'm just starting my grow in the next few weeks I would still be hesitant as there is no source, is there any affiliation with a college/university or other research group? I just don't see how she calls herself a researcher if she is an artist... just sounds like she's unemployed floating from grift to grift (now PLEASE don't take that the wrong way, I have no idea if she does or doesn't)...

The point as Brick Top so eloquently pointed out is that this could be some convuluted scam/narc job and we need some more info in order to help out, and if this is indeed why not get in touch with a Mod about getting an announcement or something?

Now with all that said, should this indeed prove to be a legit endeavor I would be happy to report my grow info (which will be available in a journal anyways) for the researcher.
