if i suddenly change the area my plants are growing in and the lighting they are growing under, is it possible it will seem like growing has stopped and look a little droopy? and then they will pick up again?

i was recently in an opened up area under a T3 Halogen Flood Light Bulb, but now they are in a Closet under 8 CFl's so getting a total of about 200w
4 23watt and 4 27watt's with mylar covering wall's, and 2 fans circulating air in there.
but since i moved them in there, it seems like not much has changed to the plants except a little droopiness and not much growing at al

i dont see why this wouldnt be possible.... shock results from stress to the plants, most commonly (im my exp) with transplanting due to root damage or insufficient acclimation to full sun... maybe you have a sensitive strain and all the changes slightly shocked the lil plant.....but more than likely, i'd be willing to bet that it is something alot simpler than that; such as over/underwatering or heat/ventilation issues.....give us a little more details on your setup here; see what we can figure out.

well im in a 3x3x5 area with mylar covering walls
4 23 watt cfl and 4 27watt cfl's
i have 2 fans going to keep it cooled down , the plants will only be 11days old tonight.
they are growing in fox farm ocean forest soil
and thats about it

what's your temp/humidity? and when you say two fans, i presume one taking air in and one taking air out??

no just to fans in closet circulating the air. i cant cut a hole in door to bring air from outside, its a closet, and i don't own the house, so i cant damage it

i would guess that they are getting too hot or dont have enough fresh air...can you post up some pics? we will figure something out...even if it is a new setup...

so what do you think? does it look like the plants are starting to get healthier and be better then what they were?
do they look like normal 12day old plants?
well i think at least 2 look good, that 1 is still very small and isnt doing much.

they look healthy; but they are stretching; need to get you some more light in there if possible; if not, just get those cfls as close as possible.

it could be that they weren't doing good with the halogen light and now you have cfls. its no hid but halogen is the worst for growing, so give it a while be patient and dont over water.

yea halogen streched it + i just bought 2 100w and a 150watt CFL today and added it into that closet so i am deffinety improving my collection, just need to add an extra fan in there now, and figure a way to exhaust air out, im not sure how to do that yet
