Changes to my tent & lamp

Since I moved, I decided to make some changes to my small personal grow setup. Nothing special to see here but maybe it'll help some others.

First the lamp, for which I've added two more H-Influx L06's (for a total of 8 or 704 lm301b diodes). I also switched from an XLG-200-24 to a HLG-240h-24. For the new strips I used (2) 10-series 1/2" extrusion instead of the 1" Heatsink USA extrusions which I really wish I had done from the start bc they're much cleaner looking, much easier to work with, and (I think) they're doing a better job of managing thermals. I used the L-brackets bc I when I ordered the extrusions I thought I knew the measurements by heart but came up short 2" bc I'm a derp.

The red strips are HLG QB18 v1's

The HLG driver is such a Chad compared to the XLG. The lamp is now pulling a stable 270w from the wall. Wiring is parallel.

I found this scrap piece of wire rack from the closet section at a Lowes and they let me keep it for free. It just hangs on the top of the tent and is surprisingly so hard to knock down that it doesn't even need a security zip tie (I'll add a couple anyway). It's the little things but this rack is such a nice addition which helped clean up my tent wiring so much that I had to share. Excuse the Wagos, my soldering iron broke but I'll get that cleaned up when I get a new one.

The tent I'm now using is a 32"x32" from Vivosun and wowzers this thing is a POS. The size was just too perfect to pass up for my new place and now my 6" overkill fan setup finally fits on the inside (w00t) but yeah the fabric feels like complete trash, it light leaks around all velcro (I managed to fix with more velcro), and the zipper is constructed from petrified dino shit. I've had nothing but CCP tents in the past but this one by far takes the cake as the worst of the worst.

For the hydro setup I'm using an 18gal recycling bin with a DIY Waterfarm kit. I liked the Waterfarm when I ran it but I couldn't stand res changes in general not to mention the changeout frequency from mid to late flower so hopefully with some extra soup things will be easier to manage.

I have a Sour Diesel seed from Crop Kings sprouted now (about 8 days old) so we'll be off to the races soon.
