Changing to Flower

Read that during flower phase, temp shoud be 69 deg to 72 deg and humidity 50-55%. If this is generally true, are the temp and humidity lowered at the very beginning of flowering phase(when the lights and hours are changed), or when the first buds appear?

Thanks,

Harry

I run 72-78 all through veg and flower. I’ll let it get down into the lower-mid 60’s towards the end of flowering during lights off. I sit around 50-55% humidity in flower.

The main reason you reduce humidity "in flowering" is because high humidity can cause bud rot. So until your buds are dense enough for bud rot to be a consideration the humidity is fine staying nearer to the vegging humidity.

I run LEDS, so 72 degrees is way too cold. I stay in between 80-83 for my entire grow. I drop it to 75 for the last 2 weeks of flower, but I never get as low as 72 unless the lights are out. As far as humidity is concerned, 55-60%. Sufficient air flow should prevent any molding, and of course a dehuey wouldn’t hurt at all, but if your extraction fan is on humidity shouldn’t be much a problem, that is if you’re in a tent. This is what I run an I have absolutely no problems.

I think I'll jack the temp up a bit. Thanks...
