Check my logic on a 4X8 tent, please...

Rather than have jars on jars of weed with one big harvest, I've been thinking about getting a 4X8 tent to do a perpetual harvest every month. Since most autos complete in less than 120 days, I'd be able to do 8-10 plants.

Is it fair to say that 8 plants would fit in a 4X8 comfortably? Would 10 fit? I could plant 2 every month, and just move them down the line. I'm a complete newbie at this, so I'd be only growing Autos to keep the light schedule consistent.

Thoughts?

Really it depends on your light coverage, and the size of your pots.

In 32sqf of space, you could likely fit 12-16, 1gal pots in there comfortably depending on how large your chosen auto strains get

Could be done.
Personally, i would do photos 12/12 from seed if going that route. Some of those auto's get huge.
Clones would be the only way to get consistent predictable harvests.

I didn't know that was even possible? So, they go right into flower on their own that way?

The other thought was to keep my 3X3 for Veg, and then move them into a 4X8 flower tent for 90d. I can comfortably grow 3 in the 3X3 and then I'd be able to get to my perpetual harvest idea.

I've been growing in 5gal fabric pots.

Light coverage: I have 3 MarsHydro TSW2000 I was planning to use for it.
