So this is my first grow as well as my first grow with hydroponics... I started 2 seeds, Lemongrab by SoleFire Farms, and I ran in to a feeding issue early on, realizing that I was using a 1 ml syringe and thought it was a 10 ml syringe. figured that out and they were on their merry way. From that point on it seemed as though one plant got a jump on the other and so it took off. It’s grown exponentially more than the other as seen by this up to date photo-

Initially I suspected this was because they are sharing a res and a small one at that. As well as the lack of light from the other one being taller than it. We got into trimming towards the end of the veg state after letting them put some weight on and from then we made sure to expose each node so that everyone got the same light. Any advise why this might have happened is greatly appreciated as I’m planned on revising our DWC system into a RDWC system soon with individual buckets. (2 of them to be exact) here’s some photos of the grow start to finish.

Another thing I’m curious about, should I remover the lower buds on these stems or let them grow with the main cola as well? (Pic below)

This can happen when you grow from seed. Each individual seed can be different and behave differently. If you want uniformity try using clones from the same plant.

I would give them a break on the trimming for now. Pretty sparse looking for early flower.
Maybe give em another trim when they start filling out

Yeah after we trimmed them last we decided to let them grow and use twine to tie them out from each other instead. We might not trim for the rest of flower depending on how they are doing. They are just getting out of the stretch period right now.
