It's flower time, it's flower time! Hurray! And so here is my TGA grow -- tomorrow is day 1 of 12/12 so here are the pre-flower pics. These are all (except 2) a mix of Ace of Spades, Apollo and CQ. The other 2 are Genius x Deep chunk. I got a Void x Grape Apollo in my seedlings (please be female, please be female)

The girls on Tuesday, day 49 -- the day they were loaded onto the shelf and put under 600w HPS (were under LED til then -- will be under HPS/LED combo shortly)

In the next month, I'm ordering Deep Purple, JC2, Qleaner, Ripped Bubba, Space Dawg, Timewreck (and Chernobyl or plushberry depending on what freebies are still available at hemp depot).

Next grow I will be growing 10-11 TGA strains.

Weekly updates/pics will follow.

In a couple weeks there are going to be two shelves full of about 30 flower girls (but only one shelf TGA)... next grow will be two shelves on either side (almost) completely filled with different TGA strains. MMMMmmm, dank.

PS - Airpots + organic (super) soil + TGA = the shit.

My sole surviving veg cutting from Ace of Spades #4 - she'll be vegged into a beast before going into flower, where she'll become a monster :) she's going in with the current batch of vegging seedlings

The ones on the shelves are 1.5 gallon (testers), the ones on the ground are 5 gallons. There's one 3.4 gallon on the lower shelf as well... after this run when I identify the keepers, the cuts from those will go in the big pots - 5 gallons on the floor and 2.6 - 3.4 gallon on the shelves.

Will be using one shelf and the floor for keepers and the other shelf for testing a couple TGA 10 packs at a time :) I have 20 timewreck and 5 chernobyl on the way to me from hempdepot right now. They'll get a bit better veg than these got.

This room goes from 62-65 low to 84-86 high... hoping that is enough of a temp difference to bring out the blues & purps.

Also, just a little pointer I learned:

Big temp swings during early bloom makes for big stretch. If you want the colors, maybe hold off on the big swings uuntil late bloom.

Yes I had noticed that too and figured it was a CQ thing :)

Had not heard that on the temps, but it's already more than half way through the stretch now and the only way to adjust temps to closer to even is to flip them from day to night, and even that i'm not sure would make a big difference... it's in the coldest room in the house so if it's lights out, it's cold... and when the lights are on... well it is not cold :)

Here are macro shots of the Ace of Spades buds from the 1st plant flowered by owl -- hope one of the 4 is like this one :)

Sensei- Hate to be that dude... But you really should get that ballast up off the flammable carpet floor. I'd stick it in top of a milk crate or something.

Keeping it fun, while keeping it safe. :)

In other news, your plants look great! Can't wait to see your Cheese Quakes start filling in.

Thanks it doesn't really get that hot I think but I'll do that just in case :)

As for the cat, he is a hella stoner but not in these pics :)

Yeah I'm just never satisfied... veg just wanted to get to flower... flower just wanted to see those buds, now just want to see them fill out... next i won't be happy til i'm sampling some ;) This weekend is gonna be busy... building the new shelf... gotta take cuts and get rid of the rest of the lower branches that aren't big enough for cuts. And of course it being pay day this weekend, it's time to go out and buy a shit load of roots to make super soil and veg super soil... though i probably won't do that for a week or two as it's not urgent and i may not have time. Time to get the grow room organized for the final push through flower and the next generation that's coming into the flower room weekend after this :)

Apollo 13 is one of my favorites... I smoke it every day by choice :) I been smoking it for 5 months now and have a pretty good tolerance to it but she still does the trick... although i want to find a pheno that hits like it did before the tolerance build up :) When I come back to apollo i'm gonna probably grow void because I think a better tasting purple apollo would be even more ideal... they are ideal plants to grow. Hardiest plants in my garden always it seems, like to eat and usually will take as much N as you throw at them in veg, great growers, budsites and tons of branching growth in flower it's an ideal plant for lst/scrogging/mainlining/training a bunch of colas I got very solid yields in super soil without hardly trying... 3 1/2 oz average in 2.4 gallon airpots and just LEDs... still only in a 3.4 gallon airpot this time but when i pick my keeper a13 i'll do her in a 5 or 7 gallon -- I would not be surprised if I yield 6-8oz -- I would probably LST her like crazy instead of topping to improve yields further. But I like a13 over all the rest... she's the most interesting head high... she takes you to far away places, puts all kinds of great/funny ideas in your head... i love the genius influence for sure and want that in the keeper. I find with a lot of the indicas without much sativa influence i just get fucking bored.... stoney is only interesting for me so long unless there is something else going on with it or it is sledgehammer strong. really i prefer either influence I guess so long as it is POTENT :) the indica pheno had some body in it but the body is the first thing to go away with tolerance... at least with the ones I've grown so far

So far the apollos & genius x deep chunks are winning the frost wars :) but i expect the cq & aos to come on strong any time now and give the apollos a good run for it :)
