IMG_0821.jpgIMG_0822.jpgIMG_0823.jpgIMG_0824.jpg

36 hours of darkness, the plants each grew 1 inch. I will post updates each week on this grow. Let me know what you guys think.

They were clones my buddy was keeping for about 6 months. He gave them to me and I put them into 3 gallon pots for about a month.

I havent fed them anything since being transplanted into fox farm ocean forest. But they are due to be fed next week. I have GH grow/micro/bloom and i am picking up AN big bud and b52 later this week.

I never knew you were suppose to go 36 hours of dark between veg and flower? I'm new though, should I be doing this?

Everyone has their own theory. Some people just put them to sleep for 12. Some people go 48 hours. My opinion is by letting them sleep around 36+ hours is that it induces flowering faster. If you just go right to 12/12 sometime it takes the plant a little longer to figure out it's supposed to flower. I think it might also be strain dependent because I have read a lot of people just start 12/12 and the plant goes right into flower. I'm sure lighting strength is also a huge factor as well.

Sweet, ok so say I have 4 plants vegging for 3.5 weeks now. I want to flower then at 1 month. If my 18/6 goes dark at 11 pm -5 am. So on my next light cycle, I will turn off lights at 11 pm and set them to start again at 5 am 30 hours later. Does that work?

Oh and appreciate the info :)

On my last 2 grows I have tried 24hrs, then 36 on the next one, while keeping half the plants going right into 12/12 after the 18/6 dark and I didn't find no difference. I just go 12hrs light after the last 6 hour dark period now. It never made sense why I was giving them a day downtime before lol.... this operation isnt union, I want production! Lol

Yes that works fine. like I said, everyone does their own thing when it comes to downtime before flowering. It's whatever works for you.

Those babies are looking great! I see an LED panel?? I was thinking of going for one on the next grow but I have read so many bad reviews on the panels. I am afraid of getting a bum one. I look forward to seeing some bud porn in a few weeks! Sub'd :weed:

Thanks for the compliment. I will be posting weed 2 pics on Monday morning. I am nervous about the led's myself but I decided to give it a shot anyway. My buddy had god results with this light so I figured I would take his word for it.

Ok, here are day 8 updated pics, lots of white hairs forming. I added a bunch of cfls along with the led. The temps were getting too low ever since I added the 4" carbon filter setup. Temps were low 70's but now with the extra 8- 23 watt cfls (4 2700k/4 5000k) the temps are hovering about 77-78 with lights on and about 66-68 lights off. Stretching has been minimal, they maybe grew 1 inch a piece this last week. I also fed them nutes on saturday (GH grow-micro-bloom) i used 5-5-8 just didn't want to overdo it right off the bat. I also gave them 6ml of AN big bud instead of the recommended 8ml/gal. Next feeding I will be introducing AN B-52 and will increase all dosages on nutes to full strength if I don't notice any burn from saturdays feeding. Let me know what you guys think about the nutes.

Here are the day 15 updated pics. I don't know why but one of the plants looks like its starving for nitrogen. A handful of leaves tuned yellow and a bunch are turning lime green. I increased changed the feed schedule, they were supposed to get 3-7-12 but instead I just gave them 8-6-6 just to give the extra nitrogen. Also gave it 8ml big bud/b-52 per gallon. Hopefully they bounce back.

Hey Mfajen looks like everything is going well. I love the color the LED gives the plant haha. Looks like they are getting frosty.
