Hey Puff, I like the Widow very much and SSH and Shit have sterling reputations. I'm not too crazy about Critical Mass right now, you got to paper towel these suckers it seems. They can barely sprout in dirt! WTF? But if you get the right pheno, it's the bomb supposedly. And yeah it is very hard to choose which one to buy form MrNice but ya gotta buy from the man at least once, right

I think there are two things about Shanti's gear that growers have to deal with. One is you need to dedicate some time and space to get the right plant. Out of my seven Black Widows, (started 10), only one is a total keeper, though I've got one that I'm growing again since I fucked with it way too much and it got pollinated by another plant. They all taste and smell roughly the same but are very different pheno-wise. Different times, different highs, some are high yielders, others not so much. Things like that. The one you want is the "golf ball" pheno, which supposedly is Shanti's fave and I think my keeper is what they're talking about. Taste and smells amazing, gets me wiped and grows those tight ball buds. The other thing is, as many people critical of Shanti have pointed out, some of his gear will hermie on you, especially if your environment isn't tight. I grew out some plants no problem and once my grow room starting warming up and my temps started swinging, I got seeds from all of my Widows. So Shanti can be a bit of a commitment IMO.
