Looking Good Chewwy, 5 foot tall eh, keep up the good work my friend. Good luck with the tieing down thing. That is for stealth reasons right? Otherwise you would be tieing branches away like Corbat420 mentioned for better light penetration.:peace:

Thanks BigGuy,yeah they are all between 4' and 5',yes i'm tying em down for stealth reasons I don't want them to get to tall so I decided to bend them a bit, this should get them nice and bushy.I'm not sure if i'll leave them tied down or not i'll see what things are looking like in a week :peace:

Oh Yeah !!! Our Babies grow up before you know it. I believe if you keep the plants tied, the yield will be several times that of untied plants due to more exposed sunlight to the lower branches. Good job, Dude.

damn chewwy lookin good my brotha... keep up the good work for sure.. idk if i would bend them the opposite way of the first bend but idk im a noob so i could be wrong it just seems that they would get used to growin the one way of bein bent then if you bend it the opposite way, they might have to turn the new growth around 180 degrees... but don't quote me on it, thats just what im thinkin.. anyone got any ideas about this?? well lemme know what you come up with or ill stop by later... ive got about a week left... cant wait!! later man keep up the good work bro peace

Thanks for all the feedback,I checked on the girls this morning they were looking good all of there leaves have corrected themselves.I will be leaving them tied down so every week I will tie down the new growth.I did have to move around some branches because some of the branches that were on the side now facing the ground are growing straight up now and were kind of tangled up.I'll try to post some new pics before next Monday.:peace:

Hey man long time no see. So are any of your plants past the pre-flowering stage? Mine seem to be on the edge of massive pistil production and I think we live around the same region...Check my grow out!

No not really,I thought it would be but the stems were pretty flexible but I didnt bend them completly over I just bent them a bit.On Monday i'll bend them a little bit more and tie down the new growth.I cant wait to see all the new growth but now that they are bent over it's getting pretty crowded in there :peace:

Hey man, plants look nice :)
Id aim to get the main stem as horisontal as possible, doing so distributes the plants growth hormones evenly across the stem (which is the main reason to tie down, apart from stealth reasons, i believe), so that each branch growing up off the main stem grows equaly like a line of small plants growing off the main stem.

This is what i wanna do with my plants when there ready for it, but i also wanna take it to the next step and tie down the branches growing up off the main stem, horisontally, on alternate sides of the main stem. With so much ground coverage, the whole plant will be getting tons of light, and hopefully i get heaps and heaps of little colas. Just a thought.

Heres a diagram of what i mean.
This is looking down from above, the main stem, and all the side branches you see are tied to be horisontal.

Thats actually what I plan on doing but you cant just bend em like that the first try.The next time I adjust them they should be pretty horizontal. As far as tying some branches back we will see what happpens,i'm kinda wingin it as I go

Ok,here they are these are from about 45minutes ago.Havent checked on em since monday and they were a little dry.As you can see from the pics one of my babies was pretty droopy I hope it was just because she was thirsty, the rest seem to be doing good:hump:.Let me know what you guys think.I'm going out of town for the holiday and will post more pics when I return. Any comments appreciated:?
LOL dude what kind of angle were you at when you shot that pic with your foot all hanging out like that? That's pretty funny. Cool roof and nice looking plants.

Looks good Chewwy. Have you noticed the sex of your plants yet? How long was (days) before you tied them down? I know you said they wer 5 feet tall.

FOr the slugs you can use any that have Iron Phosphate which is safe around animals. Did you have the cages around some of your plants for critters? Are you still just using the MG bloom? Thx

All but 1 are clones and the one from seed is also a female.I started tying down last week and I think they were about 60 days old.I started with cages but removed them after 2 weeks and yes i'm still using the MG
