So anybody ever been? I'm going with my wife in October to visit her family. Its going to be fun I think. My wife tells me that in her small hometown they have these little monkeys that hang out in this one street vendor park. Little monkeys just walking the streets stealing your dog soup and shit!!!!

I know someone who went to Hong Kong for a little over a week... they loved it


I don't how about like the straight up china back country though....

A friend of mine went a few months back, he loved it. I think he said he went to Jiangxi and Fujian (sp?). The pictures he brought back were amazing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jiangxi

My fam gone to china they said it was out of this world compared to the u.s i only gone for like 2 weeks to train in martial arts.

I think you can get life if ur caught with the herb, say safe, but I'm sure it's fun and beautiful

You will be amazed at how little things cost off the beaten path. Take your wife for a massage, 90 min for 13$ anywhere else in the world 50 to 1000$ and there great. Some very beautiful places, get out and explore, be humble and don't be loud. They do have different rules for visitors, but don't even think about drugs or we will be reading about you in the papers LOL stay as long as you can and get down to as many markets as you can, wish I was going with you.
