Chocolate Anyone

I'm looking to devulge in some chocolate this next go around, but I'm stuck in choosing T.H. Seeds Chocolate Chunk and DNA Genetics Chocolope.


Anybody have any experience with either of these strains, feedback would definetly be appreciated.....got dat Rep 4 u 2 ;-)

I haven't grown DNA Chocolope yet (plan to) but I've read a good deal about it and I'll share with you what I know.

DnA chocolope is Chocolate Thai x Canolope Haze. They're both sativas, the oldschool chocolate thai has the chocolate taste and long veg. The canolope haze has a fruity taste and quick veg.

Some growers noted that the chocolope is supposed to have a melon inhale and a hint of the chocolate exhale, great bud structure and some growers have suggested that she likes to be tied down. She is supposed to make some killer hash as well.

Some phenos are done in 9 weeks, some finish in 10. Some phenos got more of the canolope in them than others. The strain has won alot of awards. I'm gonna grow some out in fall or winter when i get my OP set up.

Chocolope seems to be rated highly in every review I have seen. I wonder if the "Chocolate" taste is actually noticeable, or if it's more of a hype thing.

Yeah, I wonder myself. Chocolate Thai was hot back in the day I believe, before my connoissuer days anyways, or any type of green besides the schwag I had been customed to. Purple was the Hottest thing to hit down here since bottled water and still is, unfortunately, I have seen the light after experiencing with different smoke, particulary my own :weed:

NOt to take a page outta F double D book, but purple is all Hype...in comparison to potency and taste, it lacks compared to so many other strains, I AM a believer NOW :-D

I still want to experiment with different strains, and chocolate so happen to be the taste I yearn for at the moment....I definetly leaning towards the chocolope

Yeah, go the Chocolope :)

I agree with you that Purple strains seem to be all hype. I have smoked a purple strain on only one occasion, and it was nothing special. Apart from the colour, it was nothing more than average bud. I guess taste is more important than colour, seeing as it actually improves your smoking experience. Well, good luck with it, and I'd like to know how it turns out in terms of taste and potency.

Chocolate Chunk is a pure Indica,Grows a main cola with a few side branches.Very low odor.Very indica stoned.I got one flowering outside with a few himalayan golds.I also kept a couple clones.for this years grow.

well I went ahead with the DNA chocolope, plus It was taking me so long b/c I really wanted to get the A train, and Kandy Kush, and 18, and the sour diesel, but ho hum, shit was getting expensive......... so I only got Sagarmatha Strawberry diesel (great find after reading the duel of strawberries, in which the wild card won) and GH lemon skunk, just a few bucks under my budget :mrgreen:

last post is hard to understand..did you get the chocolope?... or .."so I only got Sagarmatha Strawberry diesel (great find after reading the duel of strawberries, in which the wild card won) and GH lemon skunk" ..did you only get the 2 previously mentioned? anyways i've only tried cannalope ..and i thought the hits tasted sweet , or candy like (but i cant say chocolate) , the high was straight in my head and eyes at first... then the mellow body stone ..i think if you taste chocolate at the inhale..or exhale would be a nice kicker
