This is just an experiment, I was raised in a greenhouse that would commonly grow cukes, tomatoes, and a variety of other veggies straight In straw and sawdust with great results. (was mostly for display purposes but it worked quite well.) So for experimental purposes I am taking some spent oyster mushroom substrate (packed with mycelium(still has its scent) mixing it with some crushed egg shells, about 2 lbs of sun dried oyster mushrooms completely crushed to powder, and red wigglers. Made a circular hole for seedling to start in ill be mixing some pro mix with worm castings for the hole. It will be directly under 150w hps with additional side lighting from other lights in room.
