Another question for the more experienced growers, i have read that people often pre veg their plants indoors and then put them outside. I will do that next year when man buys indoor set up :blsmoke:but for now, just wondering if the plants get around 6 to 7 hours a day max, will they start flowering too soon? As far as i understand, if you grow them in that place from seed they should adjust accordingly to the day length, grow as big as they can for the amount of sun and neuts they receive, and then start flowering naturally when the days get shorter than they are currently.

Buds are okay. The plant got seeded by my neighbour's male, so I'm thinking this won't be representative.buds.jpg
Had to hod the phone above my head at almost full arm's reach, and I have long arms lol.

She was about 1 1/2 feet tall when I put her outside in the ground. She started throwing pistils but stopped as the days were getting longer.

Nice thats a healthy looking plant, how much longer are you expecting until harvest? Do you expect the buds to fatten up much more? Is bud density also to do with sunlight

I'm thinking somewhere between 3 and 4 weeks right now. I'm still waiting for the swell, and with the seeds in there I'm expecting yield to suffer some. One guy who grew this strain said the buds were fluffier than he liked, so we'll see how dense she can get. He grew it indoors, and I'm hoping the sunlight get them denser. Stem rub smells just like sweet lemons, so I'm really hoping that'll be the dominant terpene for the buds.

Nice, that sounds good considering everywhere i read, 12 hours and up sunlight is considered gospel. Please share the pics of what the buds look like when they are done!

12 hours and up is ideal, but you can grow great plants with less. I'll post pics of the buds at harvest.

Dec 21st is the shortest day. Mark your yard where the sun is seen 1st thing in the a.m. and where it leaves at the end of that day.
June 21 longest day . Do the same as above.
Now you know where the sun will hit all year long.
