I just set up the "fermentation type" CO2 generator system Ed R. describes in his 25th edition Grower's Handbook, and went with the 1 lb of sugar, 4 and a half packets of yeast, and water in a milk jug method, and situated it in front of my "bottom" box fan which will blow the gas directly into my 4' X 2' closet, lit up with (1) 400W MH, (3) 250W HPS, and (4) 150W equiv CFL's , with (5-gallon buckets on a grate across a 4' X 2' shallow, sealed drain pan, with fountain pump for drainage into a 5-gallon drinking water "office" jug via a 3/8" tube... All organic-100%... Does anyone else have any input on the "boost" that I should see, if I continue to re-mix that solution and re-start the CO2 gen every 4-5 days, as Ed R. describes in the Handbook? I have used other methods before, and never just REALLY noticed any huge differences in that and when I only used fresh, moving air to circulate and replace the gases in the well-ventilated space... I love having such an "overkill" on lighting, because I don't even use reflectors, because I've got like 3 or 4 X the amount of "necessary" light in there, and I've always turned out sum outstanding med-grade donkey dick kolas... I'm just wondering if I will see a noticable difference in the coming week(s)... I sure don't think it'll hurt, especially since I still use the sodium-free seltzer water foliage spray method of CO2 delivery, as well...I also use worm castings, nitrogen or phosphorus-rich bat guano(depending on which phase I'm in), H20 dilituted, liquid seaweed, bone and blood meal(again, depending on which phase Im in), and really good, organic medium, with spagnum peat moss, perlite, dolomite lime, semi-rich potting soil, made from natural compost, and a few other various nutes, all at different times, and with varying methods of delivery... And I FIM and super-crop to maximize my space, so in the past, I have averaged .75-1.15 grams per watt of light... Any thoughts, comments, suggestions from summa the experts would be greatly appreciated... Thanks all...
