OK work with me a little.. sorry grammer nazis...lol...
... this has been a long time running multiple strains lights systems here is the list of stuff i have fixed and or fine tuned in the process and some of it worked for awhile always back to same sad shit.
1st. thought it was my res temp it was hot so i bought a chiller now have a water chiller for my big 55 keep it at 70-75
2 . hard water (we have well) got a water softener... and after that didn't work i got a r.o system puts out. .18ppm - .13 ppm.
3rd ppm and tds readings got cheap pens you know the ones on ebay cheap ones used those thought i had it same result at some point.got better using them and eventually got the nice ones when i found the cheap ones were junk and not staying calibrated.
just got a ph control unit haven't instilled onto 50 gal yet about to hook it up again (eb and flow)

of late ive been using 10 gallon buckets as lava type rocks so ill just focus on that.... water temp is in green at about 75-77, air is good not too windy have co2 buckets, lights are 3oo watt leds, that i turn on another as needed(hasn't been needed for awhile) Rh is 55-60,air temp high 70's ....i lived in so.cal for 7 years and never had any of these problems at all and when i moved states its just been hell. ive allways just did my nutes for a 45 gall. on the 55 gal res and i never had problems with anything and i didnt check ppm or tds now i do it twice daily and im screwed the symptoms are a fan somewhere will start to claw up slowly (and ive put them in strait ro at first signs with no luck) then new growth will (slightLY)yellow and twist and slow prolonged new growth turns goldish brown then dead. i will rinse with a flush and try to regrow of late i thought i had it figured out started using cal mag and duluting nutes down to 300-400 area and same shit the only good harvest ive had in quite some time was a king geleto that i had hooked up to my dehumidifirer to replace water as she was drinking a huge amount a day . so its water problem i just dont know what. i dont think i am burning them with excess what is the proper ppm amount as rule of thumb for dif stages of life i know it changes from strain to strain . and some of our garden plants (peppers an such )have displayed curled clawed leaves and they are all mother nature out side and that sort of freaks me out im just lost at the moment ill put up the sad pics in a bit
how fast can a low ph affect and lock up cause i will catch it sub 5 on occasion but i fix fast i try for 5.8 -6.2 i get some 1 point swings sometime and i know they say thats due to not enuf nutes but if i put in more i risk frying . ill post more with pics any help would be great thanks!!!! at wits end ppm for clones?babys?mid growth?budding to end?
