Cleaning grow tent for next run

Hey guys, how thoroughly do I need to clean my grow tent before my next run if I had no mold/pest/fungus issues? I have taken everything but the lights out, shop vacced it all. I think I need to clean the flood table good, its all stained from nutes. I mixed up some water and hydrogen peroxide and wiped the floors and walls down. Anything else? Just don't want to screw myself. lol. What are some of your routines?

I usually do same but after I shop vac and before I h202 everything I straight up spray clorox and wash it all down then rinse with clean water, then the h202 then wipe again. dont know if its overkill but it makes me feel better.

in my closet I have to take the middle fixture out so I can get at everything. tents not so much. but every couple rounds I decide to switch up something anyway so I usually tear it all down and start fresh at least twice a year.

I vacuum everywhere. Then spray all the surfaces with an anti-bacterial cleaner and wipe them down with a clean damp cloth. I then dust all of the lights and fittings, then give them a wipe over with anti-bac wipes. I wash all of my pots and dish trays in dish soap and hot water.

At the moment I am using plastic pots, I am finding this less than ideal. I am currently weighing up the differences between fabric pots and plastic air pots. How do people clean fabric pots? Can you put them in the washing machine?

I hand wash my cloth pots and then hang dry them outside. After they're dry the rest of the roots and shit come off a little easier. Def not the easiest to clean but I like them. This next run I am trying a cloth raised bed by Grassroots.

What type of detergent do you use?

I'd love to use a single bed. But unfortunately I have to grow in a loft and everything has to go through a 1.5' x 1.5' hatch.

It's super simple, just pvc and a cloth piece. Look it up, I bet itd fit.

I just rinse them really good and then soak them in some peroxide and warm water then I hang them. I havent actually reused any yet haha. I have a bunch, they're so cheap.

As my grow is in a loft I would worry about the sheer weight of it on the ceiling beams. Also, I am in the UK and weed isn't legal here. I have never had any problems with the Police, but I have had a close call. My young daughter was playing in the street and some older kids starting causing trouble. A pair of these older kids forced my daughter and her friend to fight so they could film it and post it on YouTube. When I found out I went to calmly discuss it with their parents. I got a ton of abuse from their parents. I had no choice but to involve the local Police, it was the only way I could get the videos taken down. The last word these kid's Father said to me were "If you phone the Police I will tell them about the contents of your loft." To this day I will never know how that guy found out about my grow as the only other person on the planet that knew was my wife. So I had to pull it all out. It took hours. I took a few years off growing after that scare. I started again in April. Now my loft is setup so it can be gone in 15 minutes. So my other concern would be getting all of that wet soil back out.

I clean mine by putting them in the trash.

For less than $3 a piece they get their money worth for about 4 months of use.
I get what you are saying. They are £10.99 for 6 over here, that would be £22 every 8 weeks or so. That would be nearly £150 a year, aside from electrical costs, that would double my costs per year. Plus, it isn't very environmentally friendly.

In almost 30 years of growing I've never ever washed down any grow room, I keep them clean and tidy as I go and give them a brush/vacuum at the end.

Besides thrips that arrived in clones I've not had any troubles, in fact I'm at a loss to think of anything that washing would prevent?

The only other thing I do is I mix 16 ounces of 91% iso alcohol to 2 gallons of warm water
and spray everything down with that, but that's just something I do right before my plants
go into the room.

I've grown in the same tent in the same location for over 15 years and have seldom "cleaned" it more than vacuuming deal leaves and keeping equipment top notch. A hot shot no pest strip keeps it pest free. My inspection/mixing station is a different story...mostly messy to mostly clean and all points in between. I learned a lesson when I brought spidermites home from a friends grow...so in all that time, it has been what I brought in was the worse thing that ever happened to a grow.

Hydrogen peroxide (h202) is more effective than bleach at killing mold, just spray on the regular 3% stuff, wait 15 minutes then wipe it off. I usually go over the entire surface again with plain water afterwards, not sure if it's necessary, but I feel like diluting whatever is left might help preserve the surface from further oxidation.

don't slack on cleaning, easier to prevent a problem, than chase a fix.
Totally agree. If you've had a mold problem and you don't clean like a maniac, you will have it again. Even if you do clean really well, there are probably still some spores floating around, so you should preemptively treat your next crop with biological fungicides from day 1.
