Would itbe possible to cut a clone under water then place it into soil from there? I doubt it but wouldnt hurt to ask i guess..

yes its entirely possible. its almost a must to get some sort of rooting hormone to dip them in before you put them in the soil though. its possible to clone without it but you will have a drastically better survival rate with the rooting hormones.

hell yeah try it. ive done it and works good. id rather clone in soil than in rockwool. My experience is that in rockwool takes longer to root.but thats just me...:joint:

I've snipped a top off a vegging plant by accident, no water, I just stuck the stem in the same pot as the momma, it wilted and came right back and took root, over a week and a half time. Under the right conditions of the environment and the plant, I think it roots quite easy a high percentage of the time. Although the use of root tone or an additive or process will increase success chances and limit the amount of recovery time for the plant, which can add weeks to the process. Hope this helps

i did the same thing and the top of the plant rooted out anf grew just fine. but rooting gel and treated water works every time. like fdd shows is the way. atleast that how i do it at 100% success rate on cloning. but yes putting it in the ground dose work iv done it.but why when theres solutions out there that increasess your success rate
